Terrorism Supporters Plan to “Disrupt” the Presidential Debate in Atlanta

A coalition of anti-Israel extremists, the vast majority of which are pro-terrorism anarchists and communists, are planning to prevent or “disrupt” this Thursday’s presidential debate as part of their campaign to seize the Democratic Party and advance their pro-Hamas, anti-American movement.

They have announced two convergence points in Atlanta near CNN headquarters. A protest is scheduled to take place at Fowler and 10th Street NW at 7 PM. A second gathering with a more menacing “Stop the Debate” protest is to take place at 8 PM at Home Park, less than one mile away. The debate will begin at 9 PM.

Stop Cop City

The loudest voice vowing to “disrupt the first debate of the most unpopular presidential election in living memory” is the terror-tied Stop Cop City/Defend the Atlanta Forest group. This group has tried to stop the construction of a police training facility near Atlanta, which is also a central focus of anarchist Antifa (anti-fascist) militants.

Over 60 militants involved in the group are being prosecuted for illegal acts to block construction of the training facility. Changes range from vandalism to violence, including dozens of domestic terrorism charges, for attacks on police and even utility workers, as well as various instances of arson and property destruction.

Andy Ngo reports that one of Stop Cop City’s paramilitary trainers, River Michael Les Sewell, is trying to rally extremists to participate in the plans for Thursday. Sewell previously served in the U.S. Army and has openly expressed his desire to engage in political violence. He is also the vice president of Mixdeity, a nonprofit related to music and activism named.

Stop Cop City is focused on the 8 PM protest. The “Stop the Debate” protest is also endorsed by the militant Palestine Action US group, which supports terrorism on American soil, and the rally is being promoted by Escalate Network, an important anarchist group recently profiled by Capital Research Center. The anarchist organization refers to Hamas as “the Palestinian resistance” and plays a major role in providing militants with guides for committing criminal, destructive and even violent acts. It recently called for the murder of the New York Times editorial board and an “American Intifada” on U.S. soil.

The 8 PM protest is sponsored by:

• The self-proclaimed Marxists of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which endorsed Hamas’s October 7 terrorist attacks on Israel.
• The communist Freedom Road Socialist Organization, which supports the October 7 attacks, as well as Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist groups.
• The Atlanta wing of the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, which agrees with the October 7 attacks and threatens to engage in violence. It said it “pledges to (politically and physically, if necessary) defend the democratic rights of all Palestinians and supporters who are coming under government, Zionist, and law enforcement attack in the U.S. and everywhere else.” It also identifies itself as an “affiliate” of the pro-Hamas U.S. Palestinian Community Network.
• The anarchist and communist-tied Community Movement Builders, which is a member of the Stop Cop City coalition and has extensive links to anti-American extremists;
• Democratic Socialists of America, which openly sides with Hamas and endorsed Iran’s attack on Israel;
• Jewish Voice for Peace, which doesn’t believe Israel has a right to exist and has a very inconsistent and mixed record on terrorism.

Other groups sponsoring the protest include the Atlanta Multifaith Coalition for Palestine, the Housing Justice League, Georgia Youth Justice Coalition, and American Friends Service Committees.

Part of the Summer of Resistance

The plot against the presidential debate is also a part of a recently declared “Summer of Resistance.” The promotional image for the campaign that was posted by Stop Cop City includes an image from the October 7 attacks showing a Palestinian standing on top of an Israeli tank, which is a photo that is considered iconic by Hamas supporters.

The “Summer of Resistance” was also recently endorsed by the New York City Resistance Coalition using the same pro-Hamas imagery. This coalition includes:

• Samidoun (Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network), a front for the PFLP terrorist group;
• Various chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine, which declared itself to be a part of Hamas;
• Within Our Lifetime (WOL), which identifies itself as part of the Iran-led “Axis of Resistance” that includes Hamas;
• The International Action Center, another endorser of Hamas and its October 7 attacks and a supporter of Iran’s direct attack on Israel;
• Anakbayan, a Filipino communist group that celebrated the October 7 attacks and has explicitly sided with Iran;
• The Bronx Anti-War Coalition, which says it works in support of Hamas and the Iran-led “Axis of Resistance;”
• New York City Revolutionary Youth, a branch of the communist Revolutionary Students Union; and
• Workers World Party, another communist group that praised the October 7 attacks and is a self-proclaimed ally of Iran, Hamas and the “Axis of Resistance.”

Other groups in the NYC Resist Coalition include Columbia University Apartheid Divest, CUNY Alumni 4 Palestine, Harlem for Palestine, Friends of Swazi Freedom, NY Cars 4 Palestine, New York City ICE Watch, Resist 4 Return, and Equality 4 Flatbrush.

The Objectives of the Terrorism Supporters

One of the top objectives of this pro-terrorism seditionist movement is to essentially hold President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party hostage by claiming that they can influence enough swing-state votes in states like Michigan and Minnesota to decide whether he wins re-election or not.

Within Our Lifetime is currently leading the charge against Bernie Sanders, Alexnadria Ocasio-Cortez, and Jamaal Bowman. It is particularly incensed that these three progressive powerhouses have condemned anti-Semitic protests, including WOL’s criminal protests that damage property and honor Hamas and the October 7 attacks.

The group has published a list of demands that politicians must fulfill to escape their wrath. One of demand is to “defend [the] Palestinian right to resist.” That obviously means siding with Hamas and the other terrorist groups that WOL backs.

The pro-Hamas Palestinian Youth Movement is also rallying against them, accusing them of being a part of the “demonization of the Palestine Movement in the United States by opportunists and members of the so-called American Left.” And it vows to engage in unspecified actions in retaliation: “We affirm that we have not only a right, but an obligation, to disrupt the activities of all electeds [sic] complicit in this genocide.”

WOL and its allies’ goals even go beyond moving the U.S. into the pro-Hamas camp that wants to destroy Israel. In one illuminating tweet, WOL said:

Disrupt, destroy, and bring down every single zionist and Imperialist system in the US. We call on all revolutionary and progressive forces in NYC to…take collective and disruptive action on your own.

The forces behind this planned disruption of the presidential debate would like to have you believe that they were triggered by Israel’s “genocide,” that their overflowing love and empathy for innocent life is driving them to act in provocative ways that they never would have chosen if not for American indifference and evil.

But the truth, based on their own words and actions, is that they are volunteers for an international campaign of terrorism and sedition that wants to dismantle the U.S. and replace it with “Turtle Island,” just like they want to destroy Israel and replace it with Palestine.
