Mamdani Weeps for Dead Criminal Psychopath

It’s war out there, particularly in degenerating cities like New York. An army of sociopaths lay siege to the law-abiding, threatening our lives out of greed, malice, and boredom. Democrats have taken sides in this war. The party’s de facto leader Zohran Mamdani makes their stance clearer than ever by publicly mourning Clarence Woodward, a career criminal incarcerated for murder.

To quote Mamdani:

I am deeply saddened by the death of a New Yorker in City custody at a jail on Rikers Island early [Tuesday] morning. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones as they grieve this loss.

We do not yet know the cause of death, but we do know that too many New Yorkers have died on Rikers Island. The Department of Correction and its oversight partners will investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

Our administration is fully committed to the critical work of creating better conditions in our city’s jail system and closing Rikers Island as quickly as possible.

Rikers Island serves as a fort in the war — an enemy fort, from the liberal point of view. That’s why it must be closed.

The New York Post has background on Woodward:

The inmate was identified as 41-year-old Clarence Woodward, an ex-con with nearly 30 arrests on his rap sheet, who was found unresponsive in his cell shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday while awaiting trial for murder in the gruesome 2024 attack at a Bronx laundromat.

Surveillance video appears to confirm that Woodward stabbed his victim Jose Miranda in the back.

“It’s terrible,” his grieving mother, Marisol Miranda, told The Post on Thursday, adding, “That’s not fair. That’s not fair at all.”

Fairness isn’t what voters wanted, or they wouldn’t have elected Mamdani. They wanted its diametric opposite: social justice. Now they are getting it, good and hard.

As usual, the killer had a long résumé prior to the murder:

Woodward, who was living in a Brooklyn homeless shelter back then, already had 29 unsealed arrests on his rap sheet, dating back to a 2002 criminal trespass bust in The Bronx, law enforcement sources said.

His criminal record also included four felony robbery arrests, five assaults and several weapons, drug possession and larceny charges, the sources said.

Yet he was running around loose on parole, because people like Zohran Mamdani are in charge.

Neighbor Alfredo Avila reports that Woodward “was always on drugs.” This is likely what killed him, considering what addicts are liable put in their system while incarcerated. Or maybe it was racist prison guards, as Mamdani would prefer you believe.
