California Lavishes $Billions in Welfare on Illegal Aliens

In the long run, mass immigration — much of it illegal — will cost us everything. Our civilization will die out, as we are displaced by very different people from very different cultures, so that we can no longer live on through future generations. You might say it attacks the very meaning of life. In the short run, it costs us in terms of public safety and of course money. California alone bestows many $billions per year on illegal aliens after confiscating the money from American citizens.

City Journal reports:

California oversees a shadow welfare system that allows noncitizens to receive health care, rental assistance, college grants, tax credits, low-cost car insurance, and even smartphones on the taxpayers’ dime.

Foreign invaders are allowed to enroll in welfare programs on their children’s behalf, as if deliberately to encourage them to reproduce faster. This is what makes the insane Trump v. Barbara ruling so devastating.

California taxpayers spent at least $11 billion subsidizing illegal immigrants in the last fiscal year.

The Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI) is among the programs passing out our money to foreigners who are effectively conquering our country. Admits an official in Glendale:

“If [you are] a citizen, you cannot get CAPI,” he said. “I don’t care about legal or not. Not being [a] citizen [is the key].”

Conquest of the USA pays well:

All told, a family of five in California with two illegal-alien parents, two U.S.-born children, and one illegal-alien grandparent can receive public services worth more than $100,000 per year.

Sure beats slogging all day for a tiny fraction of that in some Third World hellhole.

Federal law generally prohibits states from using federal dollars to serve illegal aliens. To dodge those restrictions, California created parallel state- and locally funded programs that allowed the state to extend benefits to illegal immigrants. Perhaps as a result, more than one in four California residents today is foreign-born.

The strategy is working. The state that gave us Ronald Reagan is now a single-party Democrat stronghold that produces the likes of Kamala Harris. Unless something changes drastically, the rest of the country will soon follow.
