Leftists always overreact to Trump. After all this time he still plays the same game and they still fall for it. It’s is not as if he has hidden his approach, he wrote a whole book about it. He demands the outrageous and dials back to a strategic compromise in order to get what he really wants. Take Greenland for example.

They MSM couldn’t wait to tell us that Trump didn’t get everything we wanted. In reality he did. I’m sure he would have loved to buy Greenland and see leftist heads explode. I’m sure he would have loved for the US to have control of all the precious metals. But what he really wanted was the ability to control the airspace over Greenland via additional military presence in order to protect the US (and maybe Canada if they behave) from enemies such as Russia, China and Iran.
I know what he said but Trump never planned to “seize Greenland”? That was never his objective and anyone who thought it was has a very serious case of TDS. Why do they let themselves continue to be played? Maybe they should stop criticizing it and just read The Art of the Deal.
Oh well, just prepare for the onslaught of criticism of the deal to follow.
