Lesbian Bar Canceled for Lifting Covid Mask Requirement on Saturday Nights

Covid hysteria is mostly behind us now, yet moonbat mask madness continues, demonstrating that not even a lesbian bar is safe from intersectional Cultural Marxism.

Fox News reports on the Last Ditch Bar and Arts Venue:

A lesbian bar in Greenfield, Massachusetts, sparked community backlash after lifting its mask mandate for one night a week, with accusations of ableism and boycott directed at the struggling business.

Lesbians are oppressed, but lesbians with some kind of defect making them think they need for everyone to wear a Covid mask are even more oppressed and therefore must be obeyed.

Some critics accused the bar’s owners of putting disabled people at risk and compared the policy change to a “mass disabling event” and a “eugenicist” attack while also wishing violence against the establishment, according to The Boston Globe.

Wishing violence is a tolerant liberal’s natural reaction when oppressors commit genocide by not forcing everyone to wear a Covid mask seven nights a week.

“I hope your venue gets firebombed for robbing my fellow immunocompromised people of their Saturday plans just to scrape extra revenue from ablists [sic],” one commenter wrote on the bar’s social media post announcing the change.

If they would firebomb electric car dealerships because Elon Musk became associated with cutting government waste, why not lesbian bars that relax mask requirements?

The boycott will probably render firebombs unnecessary:

The backlash came as the bar was already struggling financially under to the bar’s unusual business model that includes rules such as “Nobody will be barred from entry due to lack of funds.”

As even the kooks running Nike/Converse have been learning, no matter how much a business panders to moonbattery, it will never be sufficient:

Last Ditch also had the mask mandate in place as part of a policy intended to make the space accessible to disabled and immunocompromised patrons, meaning the face covering requirement was designed to protect anyone who was immunocompromised.

Jackie Matellian, one of the three owners, spent 6 months living in her truck and has taken on a large debt. The others are wisely pursuing other lines of work:

The two other owners stepped back from daily operations months ago, including one who had enrolled in clown school and another who is a drag performer using it/its pronouns.

The standard groveling apology was issued via social media.

But that did little to lower the temperature, as critics said Last Ditch’s post failed to include written “alt text,” a short written description of an image added to the HTML code of a webpage for visually impaired people.

Last Ditch tried again to placate the mob during a community meeting that could be joined on Zoom. The result:

The meeting took another twist when critics made an allegation of racism because the mediator, a licensed therapist, was white.

The masked Matellian broke down in tears, but to no avail:

“You chose to use your time to spill tears and center your feelings,” one person responded. “This is incredibly racist and deflecting behavior.”
