Moonbats Get Themselves Arrested to Showcase Support for Islamic Terror

The 10/7 Hamas terror atrocities made hating Israel the cause du jour among liberals, providing them opportunities to showcase what they regard as virtue. To this end, they have managed to get themselves arrested even in Zohran Mamdani’s New York.

The Epoch Times reports:

Actresses Susan Sarandon and Hannah Einbinder and two Democratic politicians were among 30 people arrested on Thursday as they protested outside the U.N. headquarters in New York, before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a speech to the General Assembly.

Not merely posturing Hollyweirdos but pols with potential power over us took part:

Darializa Avila Chevalier—who was endorsed by New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani when she won the Democratic primary for the 13th congressional district in June—was also arrested, along with New York City council member Chi Ossé.

Big Education was also represented:

Manijeh Moradian, a professor at Columbia University who took part in the protest, took umbrage at Netanyahu even being allowed to speak at the U.N.

These days academics are not big on allowing people they don’t like to speak.

Here’s what it took to force authorities to arrest them:

The group blocked traffic, and police then used loudspeakers to order them to disperse.

Most of the demonstrators moved from the road onto the sidewalk, but a hard core sat down and continued chanting slogans against Netanyahu until police officers surrounded them and began making arrests.

Arrested moonbats explained their policy position by chanting “Netanyahu go to hell!”

Chevalier elaborated by accusing Netanyahu of committing “genocide” on behalf of Jews. Netanyahu addressed this fashionable if preposterous lie:

“We sent millions of text messages warning civilians to leave combat areas; we made millions of phone calls. We dropped millions of leaflets,” Netanyahu said. “I want to ask you some questions. What genocidal regime gives a million polio vaccinations to the enemy’s population?”

But bending over backward to be the good guys is not going to win over the bad guys.
