Oprah Podcast Applies DEI to Revering Evil

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Oprah Winfrey and her audience provide a portal through which those with the belly for it can peer into a terrifying abyss of pure moonbattery. Where else would we learn that the only problem with venerating the child-murdering fiend Lindsay Clancy is that it violates racial equity because she is white?

Via Modernity:

Oprah’s podcast put the case on a soundstage with medical experts, legal voices, a former colleague who testified at trial, and women describing their own postpartum breakdowns. Official branding called it “Understanding Postpartum Psychosis.”

Among the lowlights:

A doctor in the room told the audience she wanted the same passion for women “who don’t look like Lindsay.”

We may have reached peak moonbattery:

Imagine being in a room full of people who would cheer this:

“I want us to have the same passion for people who don’t look like Lindsay. Who don’t have her same access and education, her melanin, her privilege. There are women of color sitting around this country in prisons for this same thing that we’ve never heard of. And I just want to remind us to have the pink shirts and the energy for them as well.”

The not-so-good doctor is named Kameelah Phillips. Alarmingly, she works as an OB-GYN.

She will be happy to learn that Child Murderer of Color Dimone Fleming got way with killing her kids in the Bronx last month using the same “postpartum psychosis” gimmick. She will be less pleased that the sole voice of decency standing up to pure evil among the Lindsay Clancy jurors was a black guy.

As with the Lindsay Clancy jury, there was a lone voice of moral sanity:

A young woman stood up and said the sentence the rest of the room had spent an hour avoiding.

“I do believe she’s a murderer…”

Oprah answered: “After all you’ve heard today?”

I keep thinking nothing could lower my opinion of Oprah Winfrey and most of her audience. They keep proving me wrong.
