Once illegal aliens have been allowed into the country, Democrats want to keep them here. By executive order, Obama granted de facto amnesty to illegals who were trafficked into the country allegedly before reaching adulthood. They are supposed to abide by certain rules, like keeping the crimes they commit below a certain level. But rules are only as useful as those responsible for upholding them.
Iranian-born Democrat Parisa Dehghani-Tafti is the Commonwealth’s Attorney (i.e., chief prosecutor) for Arlington County, Virginia. Breitbart explains how she prevents drunk-driving Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals beneficiaries from being sent back to their own countries:
[Dehghani-Tafti] instructed prosecutors to change the charges when a DUI conviction could prompt deportation of a migrant with DACA status. …
Her office sent prosecutors a memo telling them to weigh DACA status and encouraging them to change a DUI charge to a different charge that will not cause the defendant to possibly lose their DACA status.
This officially documents a two-tiered level of justice, according to which a crime is regarded as not such a crime if committed by someone who is in the country illegally. America is largely ruled by its enemies.
