Liberal Officials Could Be Held Responsible for Illegal Alien Violence They Enable

If Republicans prevail in the midterms, there could be accountability at last. Victims and their families might be allowed to sue liberal officials who release illegal aliens under federal detainers when these foreign criminals predictably go on to spill American blood.

The Shut Down Sanctuary Policies Act passed through the House Judiciary Committee with little fanfare last month, creating a path for GOP lawmakers to impose the toughest crackdown yet on states and cities that refuse to turn over illegal immigrants under federal detainers or outright release migrants in their custody.

Other overdue aspects of the bill include:

• Reasserts federal supremacy over state and local laws that restrict cooperation with immigration enforcement with the Department of Homeland Security.

• Requires state and local authorities to honor DHS detainers for illegal immigrants arrested for criminal or motor vehicle offenses who are subject to deportation.

• Withholds some federal funding from sanctuary states and municipalities who don’t comply and reallocate the monies to compliant jurisdictions.

The US government can function due to the Supremacy Clause, which prevents fragmentation into chaos by establishing that federal law preempts local moonbattery. Yet cities and whole states have thumbed their nose at the federal government in the area where it is most necessary: national defense. This has facilitated the largest invasion in human history.

Meanwhile, Democrats rally to the cause of violent illegal alien gangbangers like Oscar Belgal. There is no chance of this bill passing if they regain control of Congress. On the contrary, they will move as quickly as they can in the direction of the treasonous policies that prevailed under Biden, so that the American population might be displaced by Third Worlders more likely to vote Democrat.
