Accelerated Reader (AR), the school reading and quiz program that hands your child points for reading a book, is awarding those points for titles its own website warns contain rape, child sexual abuse, and explicit sex – and it has publicly committed to offer AR book recommendations for every American Library Association award winner, including Stonewall books about the LGBTQ+ experience, while adding DEI titles on purpose – radical content preferred.

The militant moonbats at the American Library Association are the last people you would want to choose books for children.

AR is a product of Renaissance Learning.

Its Bookfinder tells schools that Ellen Hopkins’s Tricks contains “graphic and disturbing sexual situations, including rape, child abuse, drug addiction, and deviant behavior.” 11 Points. Identical, same author: “graphic and deviant sexual encounters.” 9 points. Alice Sebold’s Lucky: “explicit sexual violence, underage alcohol use, and profanity.” 14 points. André Aciman’s Call Me by Your Name: “sexually explicit situations.” 12 points. Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Wings and Ruin: “profanity, sexual situations, and graphic violence.” 31 points.

Renaissance provides warnings for teachers but also bestows points that encourage kids to wallow in filth. For many of the moonbats who have infested and subverted the teaching profession, these warnings will serve as endorsements.
