Hassan El-Alami is a community leader and organizational figure in the Greater Boston area:
• Al-Huda Society: He serves as the board president (and president) of the Al-Huda Society, a mosque and Islamic center located in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
• Boston Islamic Seminary: He is listed as the chairman of the board of the Boston Islamic Seminary, which operates out of the Al-Huda Society

And just o be clear, a ‘zionist’ is one who believes in the existence of a Jewish state.

This is actually a direct incitement to violence. This is because the Qur’an tells Muslims that they are the executors of the wrath of Allah, and that acting as such will make them feel good: it will “remove the anger of their hearts”: “Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, and he will lay them low and give you victory over them, and he will heal the hearts of people who are believers, and he will remove the anger of their hearts.” (Qur’an 9:14-15)

So someone could decide to allow Allah to destroy the infidel Zionists by his hands.

A prominent Muslim leader has repeatedly taken to the pulpit of a mosque in Chelsea, Massachusetts, to ask God to defeat “the aggressor Zionists,” “kill them, and strike them with a severe blow.” Hassan El-Alami made these statements from the minbar of the Al-Huda Society, where he serves as board president. He has repeatedly offered the following imprecatory prayer in Arabic, here in translation: “O God, Revealer of the Book, Mover of the clouds, Swift in punishment, Defeater of the Confederates: defeat the aggressor Zionists, kill them, and strike them with a severe blow.”

He used these words in Friday prayers on January 16, February 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, August21, September 18, and October 16, 2026. The phrases “the aggressor Zionists,” “kill them,” and “strike them with a severe blow” build on a well-known Islamic supplication asking God to defeat “the Confederates,” a reference to the coalition that besieged Medina in 627. They appear to be improvisations added by El-Alami himself.“El-Amani’s prayer is a disgrace,” said Gerald McDermott, an Anglican priest, theologian, author, and academic specializing in Christian-Jewish relations. “He’s calling on God to kill Zionists in front of audiences of men who are instructed on a regular basis that they are supposed to be instruments for God’s purposes. This is incitement, pure and simple.”In the April 17 sermon, delivered in English, he said the Jews inside Medina betrayed Muhammad and applied the episode to Gaza before leading the prayer. Dozens of worshippers can be seen in the YouTube videos of El-Alami’s sermons. On some days, he speaks to a packed hall; other times, attendance is relatively sparse. In the footage reviewed, no attendee in view of the camera expresses any objection to his calls for God to kill Zionists….
