Sandy Hook Shooting: Autistic Gunman Killed 26 in 2 minutes? Mother Killed At Home? Father in Financial Services?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

by Scott Creighton

uhhhh….. WTF?!

According to the official story, Adam Lanza was an autistic 20 year old when he busted into the Sandy Hook elementary school and started opening fire on kids and teachers alike.

The first incarnations of the story were WAY off from what I can gather. Now it seems his father wasn’t killed at the house, but his mother was. Nancy Lanza was supposedly shot at home and then for some unknown reason, Adam the autistic kid, took his mother’s car to the school and killed 27 people, mostly children.

As odd as that is, the story gets more strange (unbelievable) from there: the following is from the Atlantic Wire magazine

“As for the rest of his family, we know his mother taught kindergarten at Sandy Hook Elementary. NBC News is reporting that her body was found in the home they shared, which appears to be located at this Newtown address listed to a Nancy J. Lanza. (The Associated Press reports Nancy as the mother’s name as well.) The two had an “argument” this morning, sources say, after which Lanza reportedly killed his mother and drove her car to the school, along with three guns purchased by and registered to Nancy. His father, is Peter Lanza, a vice president of taxes for GE Energy Financial Services who lives in Stamford, Connecticut, according to The Stamford Advocate. Peter does not appear to have had recent contact with Adam, and neither he nor his brother were connected to the incident. Adam does appear to have had a girlfriend who the AP says has gone missing, along with a friend of his. Stay tuned to our live blog for more updates.” Atlantic Wire

Take a look at that. Another one of these events and the father is connected to the financial industry, this time GE Energy Financial Services. He was a vice president. Another coincidence?

The shooter, allegedly autistic Adam Lanza, went to the school which he had no connection to after killing his mother and went on a rampage.

But for an autistic kid he did remarkably well.

He took a mask and all dark clothing as well as a bullet proof vest. So of course, even if there were to be videos that would ever surface of the event, you won’t be able to make out who’s face is behind the mask. Pretty clever of him considering he knew he would kill himself in the process.

But aside from that, check this out: he broke and went on the rampage killing 27 people in the end and did it all in less than two minutes.

Almost as if he wanted to get the attack in under the wire before the cops got there. Again, pretty clever for an autistic kid with no motive to attack school kids.

The first word of the horrifying Newtown school shooting went out over the town’s police radio at 9:36 this morning.

Two minutes later, a dispatcher reported the gunshots had stopped.

“Sandy Hook School. Caller is indicating she thinks there’s someone shooting in the building,” a Newtown dispatcher radioed in the town’s first report of the killings.

Less than a minute later, the dispatcher radioed:

“Units responding to the Sandy Hook School. The front glass has been broken in front of the school They are unsure why …

“All units, the individual I have on the phone said he is continuing to hear what he believes to be gunfire.”

Amid the confusing situation, officers can be heard reporting a possible second shooter headed for the rear of the school.

“The shooting appears to have stopped,” the dispatcher radioed at 9:38 a.m. “There is silence at this time. The school is in lockdown.”

Moments later, an officer apparently at the scene is heard saying: “They’re coming at me through this wood.”

“This is it,” said another. New York Post

2 minutes. 2 minutes to kill 20 kids and 6 adults at extremely close range for an autistic 20 year old kid. ? Really? And then he rushes off and kills himself?

And there are reports of another suspect rushing out to the rear of the building?

You gotta be kidding me.

As a parent of an autistic child, I want to scream off the top of my head; but what exactly would that prove? Instead, let’s take a look at some of the criteria/symptoms/descriptions of someone who would qualify as Autistic shall we?

DSM-IV (DSM-4) criteria for a diagnosis of autism
Physicians use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) for Mental Disorders to determine whether a person has an autism spectrum disorder. The latest version of this manual is the DSM-IV. Its criteria for autism include the following:

      I. A total of six (or more) items from heading (A), (B) and (C) with at least two from (A) and one each from (B) and (C):

      (A) Qualitative impairment in social interaction as manifested by at least two of the following:

Marked impairments in the use of multiple nonverbal behaviors such as eye-to-eye gaze, facial expression, body posture and gestures to regulate social interaction.

Failure to develop peer relationships appropriate to developmental level.

A lack of spontaneous seeking to share enjoyment, interests or achievements with other people, (e.g. a lack of showing, bringing or pointing out objects of interest to other people).

A lack of social or emotional reciprocity.

      (B) Qualitative impairments in communication as manifested by at least one of the following:

Delay in or total lack of the development of spoken language (not accompanied by an attempt to compensate through alternative modes of communication such as gesture or mime).

In individuals with adequate speech, marked impairment in the ability to initiate or sustain a conversation with others.

Stereotyped and repetitive use of language or idiosyncratic language.

Lack of varied, spontaneous make-believe play or social imitative play appropriate to developmental level.

      (C) Restricted repetitive and stereotyped patterns of behavior, interests and activities as manifested by at least two of the following:

Encompassing preoccupation with one or more stereotyped and restricted patterns of interest that is abnormal either in intensity or focus

Apparently inflexible adherence to specific nonfunctional routines or rituals

Stereotyped and repetitive motor mannerisms (e.g. hand or finger flapping or twisting, or complex whole-body movements)

Persistent preoccupation with parts of objects

II. Delays or abnormal functioning in at least one of the following areas, with onset prior to age 3 years:

      (A) Social interaction
      (B) Language used in social communication
      (C) Symbolic or imaginative play

      DSM-V (DSM-5)

The American Psychiatric Association is currently revising the medical definition of autism spectrum disorder in ways that are expected to change its diagnostic characteristics. This change is expected to be finalized by the end of 2012 and put into practice in 2013. For perspective on the proposed changes and what they might mean for you or your loved one, please see a related statement by Autism Speaks Chief Science Officer, Geri Dawson, Ph.D.

So, let me get this straight. Someone, who is supposed to have been Autistic, was organized in thought enough to know where his ‘teacher mother’ supposedly stored three guns, drove to the school after reportedly killing his mother, got into a would be-secure school; engaged in an argument with the principal before she turned on the intercom system, and in two minutes did the unthinkable to 20 kids and 8 adults? Autistic? And no one could stop him? Wow, I have to say, I’ve seen different autistic adult and children-on either end of the spectrum….but I’ve never witnessed anyone who qualified for a diagnosis of AUTISM have such organized, calculated ability to implement such a horrible event and create such destruction in the manner they have described all over the news/internet/etc. I hope people open their eyes. Sick
