North Korea’s “nuclear threat” is Disinformation Designed to Distract from Rand Paul Historic Filibuster

Is the unsubstantiated “North Korean Threat” simply a distraction or the precursor to another 9/11 type False Flag event… or BOTH?

This is one of the most obvious diversionary news stories I have seen in quite a while.

Rand Paul (and I have had my problems with him in the past, but I have to hand it too him on this) started a historic filibuster in the senate yesterday which has gone on for over 13 hours. He’s holding up the confirmation of Obama’s choice for head of the CIA, John Brennan.

The problem revolves around a memo sent by Eric Holder to Rand suggesting that Obama had the right to use military drones to attack U.S. citizens on U.S. soil under certain circumstances. I reported on that when it came out the other day.

The White House has completely ignored Rand’s efforts and so have ALL the democrats in the senate except one. This is a big story and a rather important issue but you won’t hardly find any mention of it in the MSM.

Why? Because something else has taken center stage:

“Since the United States is about to ignite a nuclear war, we will be exercising our right to pre-emptive nuclear attack against the headquarters of the aggressor in order to protect our supreme interest,” the North’s foreign ministry spokesman said”  NBC “News”

What evidence is this threat of a nuclear attack based on? Absolutely nothing. And NBC admits it. But they do say that “other” news outlets are reporting on it without any evidence, ergo it must be true.

“NBC News could not immediately confirm the statement. However, the remarks were also reported by media outlets including The Associated Press.” NBC “News”

The Associated Press report on this threat also offers no recording or video to back up their claim and attributes it to an “unidentified spokesman“

This is terribly spooky for a number of reasons.

First, we have known the the MSM is simply a tool of whatever neoliberal administration is in power for a long time. But here they are deliberately attempting to shield criticism of the administration from potentially embarrassing developments like the Rand Paul protest by fabricating threats posed by other nations. I mean, for no other reason, they seem to be just making up potentially inflammatory “news’ the kind which could lead to real consequences. They’re not reporting it, they are fabricating it out of  whole cloth. We had hoped things might change after the run-up to the Iraq war was exposed as a series of lies, but I guess not.

The other thing, the even more frightening thing, is this little tidbit:

The Obama administration believes it could technically use military force to kill an American on U.S. soil in an “extraordinary circumstance” but has “no intention of doing so,” U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said in a letter disclosed Tuesday.

Holder’s March 4 letter was disclosed by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who had asked whether the Justice Department believed President Barack Obama had the legal authority to order a targeted strike against an American citizen located within the United States….

… “For example, the president could conceivably have no choice but to authorize the military to use such force if necessary to protect the homeland in the circumstances like a catastrophic attack like the ones suffered on December 7, 1941, and September 11, 2001,” Holder continued,”  Source

Think of the irony. The administration releases a memo claiming “just in case” there is another 9/11, Obama can use drones to kill U.S. citizens in this country and then to cover-up the political blow-back of such an outrageous claim, it would appear that is the unsubstantiated pretext for just such an act when North Korea, out of the blue, threatens to do just that.

What are the odds you think?

Is it possible that this whole thing was scripted as the narrative, the pretext, for the next 9/11? It would have to be North Korea, because none of our other “enemies” have nukes.

Of course, lost in the shuffle is the fact that North Korea has no means by which to deliver a nuke to the “headquarters” of the U.S. military (White House? Pentagon? Goldman Sachs? London? AIPAC? so many “headquarters” it’s hard to pinpoint)

Is it just a Wag the Dog operation to keep focus from Rand Paul and Obama’s treasonous claim? Is it something more?

Time will tell.
