Is the Comey Letter to Congress Simply a Distraction from Obama’s Massacres in Mosul?

The fake left, the war-mongering left, the left that sidles up to the hard-core Bush/Cheney-era neocon right in support of candidate Hillary Clinton are beside themselves fretting over the new letter FBI director James Comey sent to congress yesterday informing them of a new development in the closed investigation into Clinton’s private email server debacle. The New McCarthyites of the left are angry about how Comey has committed the ultimate faux pas by injecting the FBI into a political process this close to an election. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (one of the richest members of congress and who is married to an investment banker with strong financial ties to companies with military contracts with the Department of Defense) said in her response to this news “Director Comey’s announcement played right into the political campaign of Donald Trump, who is already using the letter for political purposes. … The FBI has a history of extreme caution near Election Day so as not to influence the results. Today’s break from that tradition is appalling,”

I mean, my gosh. If things keep going like this, a tarnished Hillary might not be able to draft your daughters to go fight that war she wants with Russia. How can the fake-left not support her with stuff like that at stake.

Before we get all Henny-Penny on the topic, let’s take a minute to try to evaluate what’s really going on here. Okay? Okay.

First of all, Sec. Clinton did in fact start off this round of investigations into her email scandal in the same way she did the last couple: she lied right out of the gate.

“If they’re going to be sending this kind of letter that is only going originally to Republican members of the House, they need to share whatever facts they have with the American people.” Hillary Clinton Oct. 28, 2016

This is an absurd lie. The three page letter was sent to ranking members of various House subcommittees as well as the committee chairs. That means it was sent to just as many democrats as it was to republicans. The second and third pages of the letter makes that very clear. click on images for larger view

As you can see, only an idiot would say that the letter was only sent to republican members of the House of Representatives. Only an idiot or a liar. Clearly her staff are capable of understanding they should read the second and third pages of the communication from the director of the FBI before giving her her talking points for that statement she made about the situation last night.

So she lied again. Not really headline material these days is it… but… didn’t her husband get impeached for lying? Just sayin…

Anyway, let’s look at the content of the letter itself. It’s not really all that clear what Comey is trying to say.

“In my previous congressional testimony I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had completed its investigation of former Sec. Clinton’s personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony.

In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.

Although the FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be significant, and I cannot predict how long it will take us to complete this additional work, I believe it is important to update you Committees about our efforts in light of my previous testimony.” James Comey, Oct. 28 2016

The emails were found on devices belonging to Clinton aide Huma Abedin and former Congressman Anthony Weiner, while they were investigating the slimy bastard’s sexting dic-pics to an underage girl. So we don’t know exactly what is on these emails but we do know none of them were sent to or from Hillary Clinton.

At worst they include something from Huma regarding Hillary’s use of the private email server or some form of classified material she sent her husband. They may involve “pay to play” or something even more sinister as it relates to how she conducted foreign policy. But since those aren’t the scope of the original FBI investigation which Comey mentions in the letter, my guess is it’s a 6 degrees of separation case regarding classified information. Why Huma would sent something like that to Weiner is beyond mysterious. She already the creep by then.

So what do we really have here? What is the bombshell? And more importantly, what does the letter seem to suggest about it?

The answer is “nothing”

In a letter to all the FBI employees, Comey tries to explain why he sent the letter to congress. Here is a copy of the text of that communication:

“To all:

This morning I sent a letter to Congress in connection with the Secretary Clinton email investigation.  Yesterday, the investigative team briefed me on their recommendation with respect to seeking access to emails that have recently been found in an unrelated case.  Because those emails appear to be pertinent to our investigation, I agreed that we should take appropriate steps to obtain and review them.

Of course, we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed. I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record.  At the same time, however, given that we don’t know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails, I don’t want to create a misleading impression.  In trying to strike that balance, in a brief letter and in the middle of an election season, there is significant risk of being misunderstood, but I wanted you to hear directly from me about it.

Jim Comey”

Why would Comey feel the obligation to the public to announce that they are looking into some dic-pic emails between Huma and Weiner on the off chance that that MAY “appear to be pertinent to the previously closed investigation”? He didn’t feel any obligation to the public to indict the criminal Clinton on our behalf and in fact, he gave her a somewhat clean bill of legal health so she could pursue an even higher office from which she could commit even more crimes against us. So what is with his professions of a moral obligation to us and to congress at this point?

At first, like most people, I figured Comey would never come out and make an announcement like this were there nothing to the emails. After the drubbing he took last time when he made the FBI take a dive for a Clinton oligarch, it seems to me it would be the LAST THING he would want to do again. Saying he’s got something on Hillary only to back-track later saying “oops. sorry. nothing to see here. move along”

With that in mind, there may in fact be something more to these emails than he is letting on.

But as his two letters stand, there is nothing on which to base that conclusion. There’s nothing in them so at this point we have to ask ourselves “why now?”

Clearly the Comey side of the FBI is all-in on a Hillary presidency. They proved that a couple months ago when they did some legalistic gymnastics clearing her of any wrong-doings when all the evidence and all her lies afterward made it perfectly clear she is a criminal who deliberately used the private email server and deleted tens of thousands of emails so she wouldn’t do prison time for her crimes against the people of this country. Crimes committed in the pursuance of other crimes.

So why this and why now?

Well, if you look at the other news of the world you can’t help but notice an awful lot of stories coming out of Mosul Iraq right now which almost all of them center on one specific story-line: “ISIS” for some unknown reason, is deciding to slaughter all numbers of Iraqi civilians as they are “fighting” our coalition and the death squads of the Iraqi government.

Piles upon piles of civilian casualties are being reported. Just Wednesday there was YET ANOTHER STORY of a massacre of Mosul civilians, supposedly at the hands of “ISIS” fighters because they were “uncooperative” with their rule.

This is total bullshit. A decade ago we unleashed Iraqi death squads on the uncooperative people of Iraq during what became known as the Salvador Option playing out in the country. The same thing is happening here and perhaps even on a larger scale. That CNN report talks about “ISIS” using Iraqi civilians as “human shields” which is certainly setting up a narrative to justify US and coalition collateral damage in the near future.

The last thing President Peace Prize wants is a massive slaughter of Iraqi civilians being laid at his feet as he shuffles out the door with his fake-left bonafieds still in place (remarkably)

And the fact is, yes this Comey letter will do some short term damage to Hillary’s poll numbers but when you think about it, the best thing she has going for her is the support she’s getting from President Obama and his wife. So if they were suddenly exposed as raving murdering monsters in the same vein as a Dick Cheney or President Bush and his support numbers were to fall, same thing were to happen to hers. And that is too say nothing of the fact that she is widely perceived by folks on the left as well as the right as nothing more than a continuation of the Obama presidency.

In short, if Obama turns out to be seen as a war-monger and a brutal murderer of Iraqi civilians like his predecessor was, that would do LASTING DAMAGE TO HILLARY’S CAMPAIGN…

… whereas if Comey comes out in a week (once the slaughter is over) and says “oops. nothing to see here. she’s clean. we were just doing due diligence. move along” then at least Hillary’s reputation can be mended in a flash even though Comey’s will certainly take a hit.

And keep in mind, the story of Mosul if told accurately, could mark the beginning of a real turn in terms of public acceptance of this renewed war on the Iraqi people and that doesn’t serve the interest of all those neocons who support Hillary either. They love two in this world right now: the glorification of the former Bush days and the continuation of the occupation of Iraq. Anything that threatens either of those two must be stopped, nipped in the bud as it were. So they would be behind this effort as well.

Basically, I feel this story is a cover for something. Maybe it’s Mosul, maybe it’s something we have yet to hear about. I am reminded of Umar Fizzlepants which was a cobbled together “terrorism attempt” back in Dec. of 2009 just after President Peace Prize killed 23 children in Yemen with two cruise missiles.

President Peace Prize doesn’t like seeing his name associated with pictures of dead children in Yemen or in Mosul and my guess is, right now, when he is so important to the Clinton coronation, it serves his interests and hers if something big comes along and chews up all the ink in the press.

That’s my best guess in terms of what this all means. It may change, but for now, that’s what I think.
