Stupidest Man on the Internet Quietly Deletes Lucian Wintrich PizzaGate Screed

Jim Hoft, the fabled Stupidest Man on the Internet, is known for quietly editing posts that turn out to be false — and that includes a lot of his own posts — or even deleting them entirely when there’s something particularly embarrassing about them.

And he’s done it again! This time he deleted a post by his crony Julian Wintrich (who has White House press credentials, by the way) on the ridiculously dim-witted “PizzaGate” conspiracy theory. Apparently, there was a demonstration outside the White House yesterday as Donald Trump supporters and PizzaGate nincompoops joined forces to show how absurd they are, and Wintrich was there to file a BREAKING NEWS report for Gateway Pundit.

Unfortunately Wintrich’s post now leads to this: Page not found – The Gateway Pundit. But it’s preserved in Google’s cache, and here’s a screenshot:

Notice that Hoft or Wintrich sent someone to stalk the Comet Ping-Pong restaurant and to take pictures there, to demonstrate how “creepy” it is. Pictures like this one:

Man, those are some seriously frightening ping pong tables.

The only question is why Hoft bothered to delete this post. Alex Jones has now publicly apologized for his part in spreading this despicable bullshit and endangering people’s lives:

If you want to call that an apology; he’s still trying to blame other people for giving attention to this story that he pushed into the right wing mainstream.

Did Jones give the word to Hoft to ix-nay on the Izzagate-Pay? Or did the order come from higher up — from someone in the Trump administration trying to keep Trump’s name out of it? Or did he take the initiative himself because he was afraid of being sued by the owners of Comet Ping Pong for defamation?

We have questions, but all we know for sure is that Hoft wanted this Wintrich post to go away.
