Honorable Welfare Program

The main purpose for all of those useless government agencies, e.g., Department of Energy (DoE), Department of Education (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), et al., is to get more people on the payroll, to grow government, and to control more citizens. The workers receive high salaries working at jobs that give them a false sense of feeling of doing meaningful work and a false sense of importance. However, it all boils down to an “honorable welfare program.”

The government employees acquire a feeling of self-respect and accomplishment performing wasteful jobs. That’s why the civil servants play on the computer and the Internet all day long at work, are bored to death, play company politics at work all day long, and can’t wait to get off work to participate on hobbies, community sports programs, or other avocations that have more meaning for them in life. Government workers are like the civil service missile—you cannot make it work, and you cannot fire it! That is because they build the missile with components bought from the lowest bidder. That is my take on all of it, and I am sticking with it.

Now, we have turned over the banking system, healthcare system, and the auto industry to that same government. The Obama administration has exponentially expanded the honorable welfare system. Creeping socialism has transformed into leaping socialism, which has now become a way of life in the United States of America. We must put a stop to it on November 2, 2010.
