Obama’s illusion of changing Ayatollahs’ behavior!!!

As one might expect, if you offer something to someone, naturally, he would offer you something else in exchange. However, when it comes to Iran Nuclear Program, a fair and good deal is far beyond in reach. Iran under Ayatollahs is master in deception. Iran however has shown next to no signs that it will forgo its nuclear weapons program. So, there is no question that Iranian regime dreams of obtaining nuclear bomb. Iran was on its way to acquire its bomb clandestinely. But, fortunately, an Iranian group, the MeK (Mujahedeen-e-Khalq), turned up on Iranian regime’s way and exposed its vicious nuclear ambitions in mid-2002. Then, no one had any idea of what is going on. The West was too busy with the former Iraqi regime and the exposal fell on deaf ears. Nevertheless, the MeK, through its strong network, continued to reveal Iran’s nuclear program in an effort to stop emergency of the Islamic Caliphate in the region. Since then, the U.S. and its allies in Europe have traveled to main capitals across the world to attend talks with Iran; it has been over 40 talks (actually, I have lost the count) and the matter has gone forth and back and yet, it has remained fruitless. After 13 years of talks, Iran has refrained from any agreement. So, nothing, absolutely nothing has been achieved. Through these years, they have met to schedule further talks!!!

The question is why did Iran Supreme leader give in to Geneva Accord, despite his regime was only two or three months away from obtaining its strategic dream, to achieve nuclear capability? What made his think twice and turn his direction so suddenly?

Former Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani is on record as having said in the early 1990s that if Iran succeeded in obtaining a nuclear bomb, no one would be able to stop it from exporting its Islamic revolution.

The Obama administration should answer that question. When talks first began, the administration said its goal was to dismantle Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Now the administration seems willing to accept any deal the Iranians are willing to agree to that might slow Iran’s race, even marginally, to build a bomb.

Then, let’s make it clear, if Iran has stared down at the negotiation table, that is because Congress passed tough economic sanctions that hammered its economy and many of them over the Obama administration’s objections. If it were not for the Congress insistence, the Obama administration had make further concessions as it illustrates it would soften Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Obama’s administration has got used to make concessions. Iran wants carte blanche removal of economic sanctions and the US and world to butt out of its nuclear business no questions or inspections asked. What Iran wants, Iran gets with a US president Barack Obama determined to reduce America’s presence in the world.

“Why did Khamenei acquiesce to the Geneva Accord, despite being only two to three months away from nuclear weapons capability?” asked Mrs. Maryam Rajavi in her speech delivered to tens of thousands of Iranian expatriates eager to topple the Ayatollahs. They gathered in Paris on June 13 in the annual meeting sponsored by NCRI. She added, “The answer is simple: Because he feared another eruption of uprisings; because his nuclear strategy has run aground; and because in the words of his foreign minister, the regime’s strategic capacity has been eroded.”

Now, the standoff between Iran and the West over the last touches of the agreement sought in the nuclear talks is a major concern of Iran’s neighbors. The crucial deadline regarding negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program looms.

They wary that Tehran would make a false pledge to forgo its nuclear weaponization in return for having international sanctions lifted, and all the while secretly building its nuclear weapon.

But the deal boils down to “take Iran’s word for it,” trusting a murderous repressive regime, fearless in its quest for world domination won’t go nuclear. “If Iran cheats, the world will know,” Obama said. Not when Iran can lie about every aspect of this flimsy deal.

“The deal will fail because Washington and its allies have simply doled out too many ‘concessions’ to Iran that ‘leave open its path toward a nuclear weapon’.” Mrs. Rajavi told The Times, ”The Iranian regime only responds to the language of power and firmness. Western governments are incredibly oblivious to this reality.”

The Obama administration and its European partners, she said, are responsible for triggering more aggressive and more militarized Iranian interference around the Middle East during the past year.

“Through their policy of appeasement and giving concessions to the regime, Western governments have served as an obstacle to the regime’s overthrow,” Mrs. Rajavi said, “If you do not want a nuclear-armed fundamentalist regime, stop appeasing it. Do not bargain over the human rights of the Iranian people and recognize their organized Resistance which is striving for freedom.”
