Tehran in the list of international concern

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The Iranian regime has sustained its place as the main source of creating crisis in the international scene. It seems that the nuclear negotiations is reaching sensitive stages, this is at the time that there are concerns whether the history is repeating itself, whether the dictators and fascists understand any language other than language of power, and whether the U.S. is going to make the same mistake that Britain did before the Second World War.

As concerns over the Iranian regime’s nuclear program subsides, concerns about its intervention in countries of the region  begin to surface, such as the fall of the legal government of Yemen by Tehran’s support and the dispatch of troops to the cities of Iraq under the command of Qassem Suleimani. When these concerns subside even temporarily, suppression and the explicit violation of human rights in Iran, continues to be in the list of concerns.

The question is that with whom is U.S. President Barack Obama going to shake hand? With the head of a country which has turned into the biggest threat not only to the peace in the Middle East but also to the entire world?

Instability in the Middle East and the formation of extremist thoughts and the growth of militias in this part of the world has turned Iran into a global challenge.

The balance of power among the states in the region has been disrupted. The previous regimes have fallen and the social structures have collapsed in Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Syria.

The nuclear negotiations with Iran are not only a challenge of arms control rather it is a geopolitical challenge.

To prove this reasoning, we only need to answer the question whether the Iranian regime really needs nuclear energy as France and … need? Iran is one of the biggest oil exporters. The oil reserve of this country is enough to provide energy for 300 hundred years, this is at the time that Tehran is not using Hydraulic systems to extract oil, in other words one could say that Iran has fuel resources for 1000 years.

Then why would a country with such rich natural resources seek nuclear energy?

The answer is simple and clear, one should find the answer in the foundations of this regime. This regime does not belong to the current era due to its historic and cultural lag, therefore, in order to continue its political life it has invested on two factors.

A. Sheer suppression inside the country and the banning of all individual, social, cultural and political freedoms.

B. Export of crisis and terrorism beyond the country’s borders.

The regime carries out the suppression in the country by increasing public executions (including the execution of women and youth) all over the country or by splashing acid on the face of the women and etc., in order to create an atmosphere of horror and intimidation aiming at suffocating any protest.

In foreign policy, in order to impose itself on the world community and to establish an Islamic empire, it has been explicitly mentioned in the Iranian regime’s Constitution that: “The Islamic revolution of Iran is not bound to the borders of the country.”

Tehran is following North Korea’s footsteps for obtaining nuclear bombs, based on the logic that the other countries have to deal with North Korea because it has nuclear weapons.

Certainly, having nuclear weapons will give the Iranian regime a freer hand to violate the human rights in Iran and to continue its belligerence in the countries in the region.

The key to understand Tehran’s atomic secret is two issues:

Will Mr. Obama tell the mullahs ruling in Iran that there would be no deal unless they set aside all their nuclear projects?

The US must either take a firmer stance against the Iranian regime or take the risk of appeasing a regime with fundamentalist thoughts. The Tehran regime is after achieving an agreement with the Western Powers for removing crushing international sanctions, at the time that has been proven to the world that Tehran cannot and should not be trusted to have any nuclear capacity. Anyone who thinks different about this regime has accepted a risk of some kind of appeasement, an appeasement similar to that of Great Britain with the German Nazi in 1938.

This regime is a global threat; the US must consider all aspects including the interest of the people in the Middle East.
