How long would it take for the world’s largest rainforest to burn down? If we don’t do anything to stop it, we’ll soon find out.
The Amazon rainforest creates 20% of the Earth’s oxygen. It’s home to 30% of the planet’s species, and it holds the secrets to treating some of our most deadly diseases. If we destroy the Amazon rainforest, the consequences would be disastrous, and they’d be felt all around the world. Could we survive without it?
Correction: we got the percentage wrong at 00:16. Tropical rainforests are responsible for 20% of all photosynthesis (and not oxygen production). Academics say this is a very common misconception, and that the figure is less than 10%.

All countries big and small need to replant trees to fight climate change and create our own little Amazon rainforest. A percentage of all counties land should be reserved for national parks and forests. Just consider that a few hundred years ago the rest of the planet was perhaps the same as the Amazon and because of industrialization and urbanization we have loss these forests. We have loss our forests because all these countries did what was best for their economy situation; and so is Brazil now. Let us not attack Brazil for their economic decisions, but let us find solutions in our own counties to fight climate change.

Renewable energy isn’t efficient yet. Scientists need to concentrate on making nuclear power plants safe. At this point, it’s the most efficient and clean way of producing energy.
If people were not burning the forest there wouldn’t be such a problem after all scientists using satellite data have determined that these are not natural fire based on the pattern of burning and recovery and there hasn’t been a significant drought that could allow vegetation to become dry enough to promote natural fires. If the destruction is allowed to continue under Brazil’s anti science fascist soon to be dictator restoring the Amazon wouldn’t be so easy as Rain forests are largely responsible for generating their own rain extending the environment that can support rain forest beyond where they could naturally form. This rain generation would be one of the larger global consequences as the vast extent of the Amazon plays significant roles in driving the transport of moisture across the globe breaking that would cause the region to become dry grassland which wouldn’t spread moisture across the planet in the same way. Ironically Brazil has the most to lose since without rain forest rain agriculture the climate would become far drier grasslands and deserts. The ultimate elephant in the room is the motivation by fascists for destroying the rain forests as racism is a huge driver in this surge of destruction Brazil’s Tyrant has outright admitted he is doing this to kill off the indigenous tribes living in the Amazon, it isn’t just an act of environmental destruction and short sighted policy it is also a deliberate act of hate potentially even outright genocide.

I have thought of a way to stop the fire. Cut down some trees and remove everything some distance from the boundary of the fire. This will prevent the fire from spreading outwards as it will not get any fuel One more thing we can do is to dig a trench around the boundary and fill it with water
