LunaOne is Expanding its Metaverse to Incorporate More Features

LunaOne plans to introduce a metaverse focused on not only gaming but also real-life activities such as work, education, events, etc. The platform gives folks a chance to connect to the virtual activity with tasks from the real world while receiving benefits that have real value even in the real world. According to the team, the LunaOne project is an emerging technology area that can influence all aspects of human life within a decade.

LunaOne also integrates NFTs, an industry that is evolving quickly. As tracked by DappRadar, NFT sales increased eightfold from the previous quarter in Q3 of 2021 to $10.7 billion. Sales have continued to rise from there. It is expected that the use of NFTs will continue to grow in 2022 and become more mainstream.

LunaOne Vows to Take Reality to the Next Level

LunaOne uses an open word concept that allows external global vendors to come together in one space. In this space, they can work, learn, and play games, among other activities in the metaverse. However, to do this, users have to create an avatar which is an NFT that allows secure and anonymous access to this world. 

Most technological experts believe metaverse development is impossible without AR/VR technology. The LunaOne team is confident that the whole interaction with the metaverse requires a device to help users fully immerse and get the full range of emotions. Hence, the project plans to partner with manufacturers to develop a branded kit, Hype.vR. The kit will have enhanced haptic and movement tracking suits, facial tracking, and more. Users can then see, hear, smell, and touch all that is happening in the LunaOne environment.

LunaOne also aims to support cybersports, become a platform for virtual events competitions, and hold tournaments with prizes. The project can attract other businesses, NFT artists, and other folks to grow the metaverse even more. After all, the project’s main priority is to partner with the best gaming studios globally.

NFTs and Ownership in LunaOne

The items present in the LunaOne metaverse can be stored in the avatar’s inventory. This inventory has three rarity types: Common, Rare, and Legendary. The grouping is based on how rare the NFTs are, with legendary being the rarest. Users can get these NFTs by developing an avatar by finishing tasks and quests. 

LunaOne will be split into different districts whereby avatars can invite friends and buy real estate. Notably, the property is in NFT form and has a customizable option. Once a user has property, they can change its looks, invite friends, participate in events, and access new missions.

LunaOne is also a decentralized organization(DAO); hence, the avatars control the project’s decisions. However, the project has taken a step further into decentralization. It features decentralized in-verse communication to facilitate messaging between users. In addition, it has decentralized file storage that allows users to connect and store data by distributing and segmenting it among all members hence security.

LunaOne Prepares for Distribution

XLN is the utility token for the LunaOne platform. It is the main currency of the metaverse by which avatars can buy everything and receive it as rewards. Notably, the initial launch of the XLN token will be on Binance Chain. It has enough technology base for token distribution and low fees for transactions. The exchange rate is set at 1:1 during the first year after the LunaOne launch.

According to its roadmap, LunaOne pre-distribution is set to start in the first quarter of 2022. Then, when it ends in the second quarter, the actual distribution will start and end at the start of the third quarter of 2022. Meanwhile, LunaOne has an experienced team with some members from Forbes 500 companies. Hence, the project is in good hands to take it through to the launch and further on as more features go live.
