The Humanity for Peace Rally, NYC, on 6 August 2023 - Gerald Celente and Scott Ritter Both Spoke (Video)

Gerald Celente was one of the speakers at the Humanity for Peace rally held on 6 August 2023 at One Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza, a skyscraper located at 885 Second Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. 

Humanity for Peace, the group organizing the event, listed four of its top goals of the rally, which include an immediate end of all funding for Ukraine, peace talks, the dissolution of NATO and a new international security framework aimed at ending division while “taking into account the security concerns of every sovereign nation”.

Celente was pleased to join some of the top voices in the peace movement, including Scott Ritter, a former UN weapons inspector, and Garland Nixon, a political analyst.  

“We are already in World War III, it just won’t be official until the first nuclear flash,” Celente said. “If we don’t unite for peace right now, we will all die at war.”

Mission Statement

The danger of nuclear war has escalated to a point that no thoughtful person on the planet can ignore it any longer. Yet, in this atmosphere, there are still some who think there should be more weapons, more sanctions and who think that a nuclear war can be won against Russia. It is very clear that those who have provoked the war, and continue to escalate it, do not care about the lives of the people of Ukraine or any other nation on the planet for that matter. This is NOT acceptable to those of us who care about the well being of ALL of humanity —Those who do not wish to see the human race wiped off the face of the earth.

We, the citizens of the world, therefore bring together all of our forces for peace, as a unified coalition above ideologies, to stop the unfolding escalation towards nuclear war. We refuse to let humanity perish at the hands of insanity.

We will join our forces August 6 to show our respect for those who lost their lives in the unnecessary and genocidal nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan by the United States. On such an occasion, we remind humanity that nuclear war should never be fought and can never be won, that it is the final and biggest crime against humanity, and this sentiment must become the dominant voice in the world.

The rally serves as a powerful call to action, reminding the world that peace is not merely an abstract ideal, but an urgent necessity for humanity’s survival and progress. It aims to engage people from all walks of life, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or faith, to stand together and demand lasting peace.
