First off, the kids said they didn’t even notice their baselayers – which I think is a big compliment for children’s clothing.  They were comfortable and warm – no scratchiness or binding.  In addition, after a full day of skiing – no noticeable stink:).  Only complaint from Tazer was that the pants were difficult to get over his feet (once past his feet, though, they fit well).  The 4-Way for me and Kovas (check out his review at Midwest Multisport Life) and Double Layer for the kids were the perfect weight for our warm spring skiing.
