Terrified mother calling on exorcist after fearing a poltergeist
Terrified mother Holly Taylor is calling in an exorcist after fearing she is sharing her home with a poltergeist.
From Dateline Zero – Holly is a student midwife with a 2 year-old daughter named Willow. She and her child will no longer sleep at the apartment in the Pemberton area of Wigan in Greater Manchester, England. She claims that the two have experienced a terrifying series of events.
Others have reportedly witnessed “ghostly goings-on” as well. The building stands on the site of the former Pemberton Police Station in Ormskirk Road, which had a reputation for being haunted.
An officer who used to work there confirmed the station was notorious for unexplained footsteps and doors banging, and that the culprit was believed to be the ghost of an inspector who hanged himself in a cell.
There was one officer at the time who refused to be at the station on his own, he said.
The officer, who declined to be named, added: “Every time there was an unexplained noise around the place, everyone would say ‘it’s Bert the ghost again.’”
A gentleman living down the corridor from Holly’s apartment says he has heard footsteps while there’s no-one there. “I’ve heard about the hanged policeman, but also about a child who might have died even before it was a police station.”
