(2/2011) The "New Normal" For Men

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

By Liz Colado

REALITY: A NOW SERIES

“He who does not work, neither shall he eat.”~Captain John Smith * (Jamestown, Virginia 1607-1609, after a period of starvation)

“There is no such thing as a free lunch.”~ The late Nobel prize-winning economist, Milton Friedman**

The middle class of the United States and much of the Western world has deteriorated.  Gone are the $100K+ positions in the financial, building, and tourist industries. Grown men now sit at home, indecisive about their futures, hoping that life will return to “normal.”  Sorry men, this is the “new normal.”  I’m telling you that life isn’t going to get any easier; you are in denial, and you’d better get up and get moving. Child Affected By Protein Malnutrition (Famine 1921-1923, Soviet Union) Wikipedia

Many of you fellows are living off of a wife’s secondary income while you wait.  You are wasting time, energy, and resources.  Soon the positions traditionally held by many women will go the way of the men’s–this will include teachers, guidance counselors, etc…(highly educated individuals)–anyone not absolutely necessary to the system will be eliminated.  This is common sense.  Teachers worried about funding for programs and supplies two years ago.  Then programs began to be cut.  Next will be unnecessary employees.  Yes, this occurred int he 1970s too, but this time is different.  The tax has been destroyed.  Schools themselves are now closing.  Life in the United States will never return to the “normal” which you know–caviar, whiskey, cigars.  Change in life is constant.

American men, your pride is holding you back from survival.  And he who is unwilling to work will not eat.  Common sense says that neither will his aging parents, his children, and maybe not his wife either.

What to do?  Consider your wife first.  She will survive.  Women will take almost any job to help feed their children.  Even if they are embarrassed, they will do this.  A mother feels inside of herself what is necessary to be done.  History has shown that mothers have gone without food, given their children up to others who would provide food and safety, or have even given up their own lives for the sake of their kids.  The woman will survive because she is made for endurance.  Men, your arrogance is holding you back–you may not make it.

Men, you normally require more food than a woman does.  Guys, get your heads out of the clouds and start thinking!  Your laziness is already taking food out of the mouths of your children.  You must roll up your sleeves and do an honest man’s work–that of your grandfather, or even your dad.  Blue collar work, farm work, ranch work, etc….this is what built America into a country envied by all.  You are the offspring of that greatness, be creative.  Think of what people need, and produce it. (They do NOT need new clothing and others kinds of stuff.)  The stores, malls, and even the flea markets are dead or dying.

People will not be able to eat in fancy restaurants either. But everyone will need to eat, drink and live with basic possessions.  Your best examples are your unspoiled neighbors–immigrants.  Like our ancestors, immigrants came to America for a better life.  Many still say, “America, it’s the best country in the world!”  They are proud to become citizens.  Most come from humble backgrounds, and remember the old days back home where life was even sometimes horrific.  These folks are true survivors.  It is not beneath them to farm, raise chickens, shop at garage sales, thrift stores, and do hard labor.  Their men, mostly Hispanic, are the backbone of the United States.  They work to eat.  They eat to live.

One day soon, food stamps will run out, as will unemployment and Social Security.  Even your local plumber knows this, and will tell you so to your face. U.S. debt is now equal to our entire economy. (1)  In November, 1 in every 8 Americans received food stamps.  That’s 43.6 million people. Bloomberg reports that, the “U.S. Department of Agriculture spending would increase 11 percent to $144 billion in fiscal 2012 as the number of people receiving nutrition assistance reaches records and food-safety spending rises, the government said.” (2)  Simultaneously, food prices are rising as climate change affects production, commodity traders increase the prices of staples, and government policies do not place necessity upon the need for food production.

What will happen?

First, the meat will become too costly.  As grain costs go up, so does the cost of the feed for animals.  This is where we are now.  Only the upper middle class and the upper class can afford grocery store meats now on a regular basis. (This is also seen in the fish markets–where the costs of wild fish or organically farmed species have risen quite high.  In addition, the price of produce is high, as we have agreed to purchase fresh foods from other countries.  Energy costs for delivery affect these prices.)

Second, only the wealthy will eat meat.  Dairy will increase in cost to exhorbitant levels. We are almost at this point.

Third, the wealthy, who believe that they are immune to this calamity, will feel its effects, as has been seen in Egypt and other countries where citizens are living in poverty at the benefit of a few. In addition, a country without its own substantial food resources (small farms) will cease to exist as a nation (history shows this). Forced vegetarianism is the name of this time period.  Eat peanut butter, beans and rice, etc.. (Cubans who emigrated after Castro’s takeover recall this experience.)

Fourth, hunger will come to all around the world.  What food we have will be taken and sold or given to others unless this is stopped.  (Think Russia.  Think United Nations.) An example of where this is happening now is in Canada, where they have failed to address their need for more staple crops. (3, 4) At the same time, Cargill is taking Canada’s cattle and selling them to Russia as meat. (5) (The Russians have the money right now.)

Fifth, you will be reduced to a watery soup broth with bits and pieces in it.  Wouldn’t you rather feed yourself and your kids a peanut butter sandwich?

Famine, men, is real. The Russians know this and they are taking advantage of the United States right now. The Chinese know this and they have begun to hoard food.  Remnants of those who saw the Great Depression and the Holocaust know this.  The last two generations of Western civilization though have been spoiled–beyond reality.  The new normal states that there will only be two things certain in life–God and death.  God states that the happiest times we will have are around the table with those we love.  Men, do you love your families?  Do you wish to feed them?  Life isn’t about the money.  Shoot!  It’s about people.

America, you are being literally crushed from within–your money has been given to useless programs (probably the new train system estimated to cost $65 billion), the United Nations ($100 million–the UN should be closed anyway–they will take your food), and to terrible monarchs which have suppressed their own people (American colonialism).  Instead, our dollars must be used to invest in the small farms of our great country–and its people–who all should work to the best of their abilities–no matter how menial the task–to feed ourselves.  As we feed and produce food for ourselves, we will be able to give real help–tangible assistance, to others.  Putting America back to work does not begin with ridiculous government programs, it begins with small farms around the country.  Using small farms will employ locals, prevent the need to import fresh produce, and allow us to even bike or walk to work.

You folks who have always lived on food stamps, and who believe that it is your right to government subsidized meals: For you, this change too will not be easy.  Be brave and take control over your own lives.  Take a job.  You will empower yourself, and you will live, as will your children.

Common sense says that if a person cannot eat, he will wish for death.  And I guarantee that many of you will feel that way.  Life will feel like a nightmare without an escape.  The enemy hopes for this.  They wish for your disillusionment, depression, despair, destruction, and eventual death.  This is war.  That’s how it really works.

Americans, you are alive now.  Do what you must to help yourselves, peacefully.  Take back your country by going to work on small farms.  Hunt.  Fish.  Grow gardens. Perhaps consider eating a food you wouldn’t normally consider.   Waste nothing.  Set aside a large storage of dry foods for the future (at least 1 1/2 years’ worth).  Listen to survivors of the Holocaust, World War II, immigrants, and your elders.  They are the remnants of times past who know what it takes to survive.  The time to act is now–YOU are the GREATEST generation which has ever lived–YOU WILL SURVIVE.  GOD has said so.  But you must wake up and face reality!

The Way Out of death is provided by God to all who would listen.  Hunger and famine are coming to every country on Earth.  NOW is the time when all people, no matter the faith or race or nationality, must recognize that we are from God and that His Law is Love.  We are instructed to love each other, as God loves us.

I am a dreamer.  God sends me His warning and asks me to do more for the children.  I have seen what’s coming.  It is famine.  Love your children enough to prepare for and feed them because you may be stuck in one place, unable to get food. The children are the future.  Call upon God for help.  He guides those who ask for direction.  I write the Truth.
