New Photo Of Loch Ness Monster Hailed As Best In Decades

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

A fishermn took a sonar image of the loch over a span of 5 minutes and got something that disturbed and excited him.  There on his screen seemingly was the legend of Loch Ness, “Nessie”.  Have a look for yourself.  -Mort

Beast? The sonar image appears to show a ‘serpent like’ creature towards the top
BNPS

THIS image of a giant “serpent-like creature” is being hailed as the best possible sighting of the Loch Ness Monster for decades.

The sonar picture, that shows a large unidentified living object deep underwater, was recorded by Loch Ness boat skipper Marcus Atkinson.

The mysterious being was recorded at a depth of 75ft in the murky water and measured nearly 5ft wide.

Marcus’ sonar fish-finder device records the width of objects in the depths directly below his tourist boat every quarter of a second.

As an object passes through the device’s beam, a mark is recorded showing how deep and wide it is.

The image that it produced when his vessel was in Urquhart Bay showed a long moving object that had followed the boat for more than two minutes.

The consistent marks on Marcus’ sonar create a horizontal mass, which is not an indicator of length.

here we go again with outrageous headlines that bear no resemblence to the story.

firstly, its not a photo of a monster, its a photo of a screen.
secondly, if a green line is considered “the best in decades” as evidence of a monster, then id suggest the case is closed.

Well even though the “original reporter” of the loch ness monster said on his death bed that it was all a hugely succesful hoax it seems there are still loonies who insist on finding something that simply does not exist. Change your medication cos the one your on isnt helping.

really? sometimes people crave attention no matter how they get it negative or positive! in this case its too funny for words LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t listen to all the negative Nessies!

firstly anonymous, if you have a problem with people interpreting green lines on a screen as part of their livelihood I would suggest you never fly.

Sten, the first recorded Nessie ‘reporter’ was St columba 521 – 597, were you there at his death bed? or are you referring to marmaduke wetheralls faked and famous (and obvious photo). 1 piece of so called evidence.

I dont know if there is a creature in the loch or not,It would seem highly unlikely but I do keep an an open mind as there are a lot of accounts through the ages as well as inconclusive pieces of positive and negative evidence such as the sonar and the dodgy photos refered to above.(notice I said evidence not proof) I would suggest only loonies declare something to be fact or not purely on opinion alone.

theres a difference between having an open mind and believing a green line on a sonar actually may be some left over prehistoric remnant that time forgot.

there is no evidence that is inconclusive.. hence the certainty that youre a fool.

Between the tales of Nessie and Mkele Mbembe, one might conclude that there is a chance that some form of dinosaur-like animal survived extinction and lives today just out of reach of modern understanding. But as time goes on and without any genuine discovery, the chances dwindle.

    • Don't be hating!

The Loch Ness is an admitted hoax, but hoaxes die a hard death.

Some say we have “evolved” beyond wives tales and superstition of primitive man. I beg to disagree.

Looks like a very good sonar image of a submerged tree trunk to me. Scotish tourist revenue must be down again. lolz
