This video looks like a compilation of the old glass under the water illusion and some video editing tricks. For instance, theres a few shots in there that look green screened…. just like the photo at the top of the article.
My guess is he did the glass under the water trick to get the crowd reactions and whatnot, and then used video effects to get the more grandiose shots. Then they cut them together to make it all look like it happened at once.
