How To Become A Skinwalker
Interview with J.C. Johnson
For more high strange interviews with The Church of Mabus
1. Tell us a bit about Crypto Four Corners and your position as President at North American Fortean Society and your radio show. Just to open up our readers to you a bit.
We started Crypto Four Corners some years ago. Myself, Leonard Dan and Dave Ortiz. It was not so much to go out and prove anything to the world, we were just all about making a good case for what was going on out here, and documenting the evidence and interviews with eyewitnesses of all the strange, bizarre and unusual circumstances. The Four Corners area of the United States, is a hot bed of activity, from Sasquatch, to UFOs.
I am pleased to be acting President of the North American Fortean Society. Raven Meindel is Vice President. NAFS is a place where all researchers can come together of a like mind, and where all theories are equal until one is proven. They still have some State Chapters open, if anyone would like to represent?
2. What is your current status on Sasquatch as far as what kinda being it is or what it is exactly?
I’m staying in the “Science Mind” of and unknown hominid for now. I’ve had my fair share of weirdness in the presence of the “Furry Ones” that I can’t explain, nor can I back up with any provable formulations or facts. Other than my own sightings, the fact that they do exist in not in question as far as I’m concerned. When Melba Ketchum’s DNA study comes to light, this will open the door to further discussion as to what we are dealing with.
3. Your position on Sasquatch researchers and hunters? Researcher just seems more comfortable to me because hunter well wants to capture it and parade it around like King Kong.
In my mind I was never a researcher, I was an experiencer. And incident on the Mogollon Rim in Arizona changed my life forever.

Call yourself a researcher or a hunter, makes no never-mind to me. If you are hunting to harvest, keep in mind that when you bring the specimen in, there well could be a human factor to be considered? You might face at least Manslaughter Charges?
4. What do you think about some of these recent stories about Bigfoot being shot and killed and the DNA situation with Ketchum?
If you were not aware, myself, Abe Del Rio and Steve Kulls did a multicast with Justin Smeja.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWZQynrIG6E&feature=player_embedded
Whether he bagged a couple of Sasquatch, or a Grey Alien knocked on his door and handed him the sample, it checks out. You can’t fool the science of the DNA, if it’s deer, dog, coyote or otherwise the testing will reveal the source.
5. I see you have a DVD about Navajo Skinwalkers and Legends. Very nice. What is a Skinwalker and what stories are you willing to share about them with us from your research?
We realized, that if we were going to understand one thing, we need be acquainted with everything. What ever we found, would be exposed for what it is, and or was. Some of the Bigfoot reports we went to investigate, turned out to be something else. This led us into a new area of investigation, and the more we uncovered, the more we became familiar with the fact we were dealing with evil.
This is not to say, that some of the Dogman reports I have been privy to, could not point to a yet undiscovered creature. I’m still holding out on that, and have some stunning eye witness accounts of peaceable encounters where the Dogman acts more accordingly as and animal, and or predator in a natural environment, not seeking human attention or being some type of terror toward human kind.
The Skin Walker, for whom he is, and what he does, transforms him/her self into and emulation or imitation of and animal. Some wear hides, some transform, some travel in spirit form. Every intention I’ve witnessed, is that they bring evil and misery, and do not benefit the Dine’ Navajo and continue to keep them prisoners of darkness and
superstition.
To Become One of them:
1. Sacrifice a loved one, or sibling, child- someone close to you.
2. Bring in the body to the group, that they may practice some
necrophilia, and then feast on some of the body parts. Later they
will take some of the organs, and make powders and potions.
3. You now begin your apprenticeship with a practicing leader.
4. Your family, and children are no longer yours. They become part or
eventually die.
I’ll stop here. The list goes on and on. If you ever come and visit Navajo Country, do so in the daylight, and never stray far from major roads and attractions. Be on the mind and careful if a Navajo invites you to his home for dinner, you might be the main course.
Half of our crew is Dine’ Navajo. They share the same sentiments as myself, no culture should condone and or cover up, Homicide, Necrophilia, Cannibalism, Child Abuse,,, etc.
6. Lately there is a big news onslaught of information about lots of Missing people in National Parks. And people are blaming cryptos from the dogmen to bigfoot to aliens and then of course the cartel. Any thoughts on whats happening to these people?
I have some ongoing investigations in Colorado presently about some missing people that should yield some closure hopefully? Last year out here in the Four Corners, I was up on the Lukachukai Mountains, talking with some of my contacts that herd sheep and cattle in the summertime. They told me of a three year old girl who was picking pinions with her family. The little girl was irritable and crying the whole time and not enjoying the outing. They said to her in Navajo something to the effect of:
“If you don’t stop crying in the woods, the boogie man is going to get you.”
As it turns out, later that afternoon, the little girl was missing. They rounded up everyone they could, sheep herders, people out cutting firewood, summer residents, and mobilized a search. She was found in a cave several miles away, alive, and still crying. She said the “Bear” took her. She would have had to have climbed over a couple of mountains, and crossed through some steep valleys to get to the location by herself?
7. What Navajo legends can you tell us about? I have interviewed medicinemen and studied Shamanism for many moons through books and documentaries and interviews and just absolutey love this stuff.
I was embracing some teachings from my adopted Grandfather from the reservation some years ago. I had purchased a modular home, and moved it outside of Flagstaff, Az- on some acreage I had secured. I guess I was there for about a year, and one day lighting struck my home. Fortunately, it hit my raised television antennae and grounded out. My only losses were my TV, VCR and Stereo. It was after this, Grandfather wanted to come and bless my home. I married into the Dine’ Navajo back in 1991, and was familiar with the ceremony. Afterwards, Grandfather started sharing all kinds of information with me. He would point out different plants, and herbs and tell me what they were used for in medicine and healing. It turns out after a period of time, I became his apprentice, and student. I was all about what I was doing and learning until it got into the spiritual realm, and the “Hocus Pocus”- When I questioned the power and where it came from- I fled. I have nothing against those heal with God given natural medicines, I do have issue with those who use evil power to put curses on people.
8. What’s some of the strangest Crypto cases you and your other fellers at Crypto Corners have experienced and investigated?
I’ve worked as a Butcher/Meat Cutter on and off since I was 15. I have even worked at slaughterhouses, I know what happens when you open up and animal. Several investigations out this way over the years, have animals going down with horrific injuries and no blood at the scene. This is one of them.

9. How do you feel about the Sasquatch UFO connection? Stan Gordon makes some interesting points and there are others out there who tie them in like Kewaunee of the Sasquatch People scenario. Whats your take on UFOs and Squatch?
That’s can of worms I would like to avoid at this time. I am a big fan of Stan Gordon and his research.
10. What do you and your organizations have planned for the future that our readers can keep an eye out for project wise or documentary wise etc?
All of us out here in the Four Corners are looking forward to Melba Ketchum’s DNA paper to be published and out in the open for the world to review. We have a vested interest in this. I do believe we may be in the final phases of getting a reality type program picked up by a major network. It will be a cross between “The Twilight Zone, The Walking Dead, Monster Quest, Top Shot, and Sports Afield.” No seriously ……………
On a personal note, I’ve never claimed to be anything other than a “Hard-drinking, Foul Mouthed, Lecherous, Adventure Man.” Expert on nothing,,,,,,,,,wait- I am a good judge of whiskey. Looking forward to some upcoming expeditions with Chris O’Brien and David Hatcher Childress this month.

My wife is Navajo, and she wholeheartedly believes in skin walkers and practitioners of black magic. You have to go to a medicine man to have curses removed.
I was fortunate enough to be part of a cleansing and blessing ceremony with a medicine man, though I certainly do not understand the source of the power, I can assure you it is real.
