Ghost Adventures Cast Member Claims No Fake Ghosts

I’ve been asked this 4 times this morning and so I will, once again, make a public statement about Paranormal Shows faking evidence.
Its no secret that I was on Ghost Adventures. I don’t advertise it, its just there. I don’t work for Ghost Adventures, Sy Fy, The Travel Channel or Bobby Mackeys and therefore, I am not going to be a walking billboard and advertise for them. Period. If something happened, I will report it. If nothing happened, I will report that as well. Thats the wonderful thing about being able to speak freely about your experience.
I cannot speak about any other show but I CAN speak about the shows that I have been on. I get a little upset when people constantly say that every single Paranormal Show is scripted. Why? Because when people say something like that, that implies that everyone who is ON the show have been given a script and is aware that its fake and that is rather offensive.
1. I have never been given a script for the Ghost Adventures shows that I have been on
2. I have NEVER been asked to fake evidence – if i were, i would tell the show, the hosts and the producers to jump off a cliff
3. I have not been paid for being on a show and so therefore, I am not an employee
4. I can, without hesitation, state that the activities that occurred at Bobby Mackeys did happen and that actually, the guys toned down some of the things that they shared because it was a bit too personal. I experienced things firsthand and can validate the things that occurred while I was with them.
it bothers me that people often give their “opinion” on this subject matter and then they speak as if they are speaking facts. That is misleading and unfair. If you were not on set, then how do you know what is true and what is not? Opinions are NOT facts.
If i watched a show that I was on and if i saw bullcrap, then I would call it out. Period. For example, I was very vocal about the American Haunting episode that I was on. I was very clear that there were things that did not occur during the episode and that the directors were rather adventurous with special affects; which ultimately ruined the show for me. But, I was not the editor. I was asked to perform a blessing on the home, which i did. Thats it.
I can understand that people are skeptical with paranormal shows. I am skeptical as well. But when people say that ALL paranormal shows are fake and scripted, they need to stop and really pay attention to the implication there. Are there shows that are scripted? I am sure. I am just thankful that I have not had to waste my time with them.

Except that “Bishop’ Long has a long history of obfuscating the truth. Including the veracity of his theological training and his alleged academic ‘degrees’. To put it succinctly, he has no real theological training or degrees and is a self proclaimed minister that has no ties to any traditional religious organization and he has lied about his training and degrees for years so he can gain fame.
Don’t watch that show, but we don’t need shows to tell us it’s real. You get older and wiser and some of the stuff you see, even with others, just can’t be explained, and the timing is always at the most interesting moments. It’s stuff that is there, you try to explain it..and most know it is there…then you have folks that don’t want to listen, because it scares the crap out of them or they don’t want to believe. But….It’s real. Would love science to come up with answers. However we’re still trying to figure out quantum physics and dark matter. Just very cool all the way around!
the main host of the show talks like a total douche… ive tried watching through a whole episode but i couldnt take it… other than that the show is alright…
They all have their shows to protect.. Of course they are going to say they are all real.
Self proclaimed minister or not, the man has a doctorate of ministry, and even though he’s ordained by the independent Catholic Church, he’s still a catholic. Just because you don’t agree with what someone has seen or hasn’t seen, doesn’t give you the right to say he’s lying. And honestly, if he wanted to gain fame, don’t you think he would’ve picked a different platform to gain it on? Ghost Hunting??? Really??
I have watched the show, and I happen to like it. I’m damn near 40, and have participated in Ghost Hunts, and can tell you from first hand experience that I have seen, heard, and felt the presence of the dead. There’s nothing you can say that would sway me from my belief.
I agree with HatchMan completely. There is stuff that you see or hear, that you just can’t explain.
As for you Rev. Brad. Are you a real priest, or just some hack on the internet using a label before your name to try and discredit a man who has the degrees you say he doesn’t. Just because he’s “Independent, doesn’t make him any less of a Catholic. The jig is up, Rev. You’re just another closed minded fool, but hey. To Each Their Own, right? You’re probably against gay marriage and think blood transfusions are bad, too.
In closing, I’m not just defnding the show, or Bishop Long because I’m a fan. I’m defending it, and him, from closed minded people who are too scared to admit that the paranormal exists. Grab a recorder, grab a camera, and grab some friend, go out to a graveyard, or an abandoned house or hospital or asylum. And try it out before you say it’s bull****. That’s all I’m saying… Don’t knock it, unless you’ve tried it
