Paul Hellyer was never an acting PM. He was Senior Minister in Pierre Trudeau’s Cabinet. It’s essentially the equivalent to Deputy Prime Minister, but Trudeau never gave up or lost power. Therefore, Hellyer never acted as PM, and you’re misrepresenting the credentials of a man whose mentality was in question while he was in office- let alone now.
