Onward Now Post Yuletide Peril

There is a hollow euphemism always sung at Christmas time and that is, “Peace on Earth, Goodwill toward men.” I know it may offend people to say this, but what does it mean to people now?

When John Lennon sings, “War is over if you want it” on the radio every year, it seems to have lost its impact and there will be those who will defend its air play as something that is a classic and peaceful song by a humanitarian who was gunned down in front of his apartment weeks before Christmas in December of 1980.

In the world now, we listen to Christmas songs on the radio and demanding the words, “Merry Christmas” be used or else we can claim there is a war against your right to spread Christmas cheer. However in the United States, too little thought accompanies the nice sentiment and hypocrisy is now spreading everywhere as the country that is the light on the hill starts to dim and it begins to follow in the footsteps of other countries that are frightened about the world’s future.

That is, if there is to be peace on Earth or if we truly want war to be over.

We would be demanding that President Obama would either shut down the war machine or be more effective in carrying out missions to destroy the war mongering members of radical Islam.

We have been put into a position of either stand down or stand up – and neither is happening – we are falling to our knees and surrendering ourselves to hate and general anxiety. The preponderance of all the ugliness is building inside everyone in the world. The feelings that are being expressed in truth are being called hate speech, and everyone seems to be in the business of coddling and supporting victimization.

We are at a loss for what can be called, healthy social cohesion. We are now defining ourselves by what we are against, rather than what we stand for. We value the ability to shame people rather than to help people understand differing points of view.

The battles we seek are not really battles at all but contrarian countering of people we think have unpopular viewpoints. We see it as an act of defiance to those who we think are irrelevant in the social strata.

Our defiance is always against someone who we think is weaker than we are rather than the defying those who believe they have more power than we do.

Contra-positioning has become an overused way of thinking whereby, there is an easy and intellectual answer to everything – and that if someone has a new idea it can always be rejected because someone sees fit to counter it using spurious methodology.

The political class has no class and their meddling in territories of race, religion, sexual conduct and science has created a method of discerning whether or not you are socially conservative or liberal.

We can no longer speak about common sense or logic without framing the debate around who is left wing and who is right wing; ignoring the fact that both wings have enabled the fascism and totalitarianism we see as pervasive in the last 15 years of the 21st century.

There have been a number of elite cheerleading squads across the entire political spectrum that endlessly tell us the United States government, not the country, or constitutional republic, has been a force for good in the world.

This government calling itself a force for “good” has done everything to destroy the conception of ourselves as a free, democratic nation. They have crushed our spirit and have successfully shattered the vision of ourselves as a nation embodying superior virtues and endowed with the responsibility to serve as a beacon of light to the world.

This government that calls itself a force for good now forces us into a new political radicalism. This is leading to a generalized feeling of stress and anxiety. Intellectual resilience and emotional coping is falling victim to despair, powerlessness and hopelessness. These are the emotions that tend to keep us from confronting reality.

People now are rejecting revelation in hopes someone will start a revolution.

2015 was the year of several “black swan” events that have sent us over the edge socially and while different people will define what that one event was we can see that it could be a myriad of events that have put us in a never ending spiral towards rock bottom.

In the wake of what can be called a brutal year for civil uprisings, terrorist attacks, threats of war, climate change fears and natural disasters plaguing the planet in general we are fostering and nurturing a climate of anxiety and fear in the world.

The United States has once again ineffectively put its boots in another hopeless Middle East quagmire, all because of what can be called “knee jerk” responses to fear fueled terrorist threats and spiking events.

Our over-reactions to most scare stories we are hearing about in the mainstream are making an already bad situation much worse. All of our responses seem to be hardening the resolve of those who wish to continue their radicalism and they are also strengthening the groups we wish to eradicate.

The blowback resulting from the propaganda telling you there is no hope is psychologically destructive and it is leading to an angry populace which is on the brink of serious revolt.

The first to be in the cross-hairs of aggression are the weak and the demoralized other. We are also seeing the attacks on individuals who are perceived as lacking sufficient political purity.

The growing frustration of feeling powerless, leads individuals to lash out violently. This of course hardens the resolve of the police state where most Americans are finding their once-peaceful communities being transformed into military outposts.

I don’t know how many times I have been told that I was declaring that the Jade Helm 15 military exercises would bring us into martial law, when I absolutely did not make that claim. I will admit many conspiracy theorists did make that claim. If you would recall Ground Zero had several former military intelligence operatives tell us that the Jade Helm exercise was carried out in order to utilize new electronic weaponry and artificial intelligence.

In July of 2015, we reported that JADE was a DARPA-developed A.I. quantum computing technology that produces holographic battlefield to “master the human” domain and predict human response.

While the Jade Helm exercise did not result in martial law, it did help in supporting various law enforcement 1033 programs which have transformed local police agencies into extensions of the military and techno warriors. Complete with iris scanners, body scanners, thermal imaging Doppler radar devices, facial recognition programs, license plate readers, cell phone Stingray devices and of course, new high tech drones that can swoop down and kill American citizens.

The Jade Helm exercises have also paved the way for various major city governments to employ the United Nations “Strong Cities Network.”

Blue helmeted United Nations personnel will be replacing municipal police forces whose ranks have been harassed and hollowed out because of civil unrest and violent activism that critics say will increase because of proposals that will limit personal freedoms in the United States.

It has been stated that The Strong Cities Network will be implemented “to strengthen community resilience against violent extremism.” With no public input, no Congress debate or vote, it will be blue helmets and not local cops who will be policing the streets of America.

This amounts to nothing less than the overriding of American laws, up to and including the United States Constitution, in favor of United Nations laws that would henceforth be implemented in the United States itself. President Obama has stated that he will have to hire a domestic extremism czar in order to monitor the extremist attitudes in America. The government’s anti-extremism program will, in many cases, be utilized to render otherwise lawful, nonviolent activities as potentially extremist. Police will be ordered to identify, monitor and deter individuals who exhibit, express or engage in anything that could be construed as extremist before they can become actual threats. They will also engage on what is called predictive policing.

“Predictive policing” suggests the police can anticipate a crime and be there to stop it before it happens and/or apprehend suspects right away. This will contribute to the government’s tendency towards militarization and over-criminalization, in which routine, everyday behaviors become targets of regulation and prohibition.

The all-American despotism is justified by the mindless slogan that “they will come here and kill us all.”

However, we were told that our esteemed soldiers fought over there to keep terrorism from coming over here, but since our jihadist Bonnie and Clyde did their dirty work in San Bernardino, we are being told more of the same old unconstitutional “business as usual” is needed to keep it from happening again.

When are we going to accept that our so-called “force for good” policies overseas and our loosely monitored borders have put us in the cross-hairs of radicalized extremists?

When are we going to stop naively buying into the idea that politics matter, or that the conservative or liberal candidates have the answers to all of America’s problems?

Can we please stop arguing over the differences between Republicans and Democrats? The greatest conspiracy that fooled everyone – is the conspiracy to put political purity as the litmus test for true leadership in this country. It was with this illusion that we got Barak Obama. We were led to believe he was a bold alternative to George W. Bush. He wasn’t and still isn’t.

Ask yourself if Hillary Clinton’s values are any different from Donald Trump’s? I mean, there are plenty of photos of them together sharing drinks at big money events.

Didn’t we ever get a clue when there were videos of Donald Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam Hussein? Or old photos of Obama advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski skeet shooting with Osama Bin laden and of course the recent selfies of John McCain with the “Free Syrian Army” and what looked like a meeting with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi the leader of ISIS?

They are all contributing to the peril of this planet and no one even cares to say “no more” out of fear of reprisal.

We’re being fed a constant diet of fear, which has resulted in Americans adopting an “us” against “them” mindset that keeps us divided into factions, unable to reach consensus about anything and too distracted to notice the police state closing in on us.

It is also unfortunate to see the “us against them” attitude is also an “us against us” attitude and directed at the wrong “them.”

What so-called “them “are we fighting against?

It is becoming an enemy that is undefined and just another excuse to justify killing someone or an entire country you don’t agree with.

Singing about peace and goodwill and then cheering onward now the post Yuletide peril is pathetic and makes Christmas a hollow celebration of a man who preached peace and plenty in a world of intellectual and spiritual famine.
