Shooting In A Fishbowl

When the shooting took place in San Bernardino yesterday, I had to stop and take a deep breath and evaluate what I could say about the shooting that wouldn’t sound like I was covering the same ground as other talk show hosts.

When it happened, many talk show hosts could only speculate about what happened.

The speculation I was hearing was nothing more than instant conspiracy theory being spouted by radio hosts who say they abhor conspiracy theory or have a condescending day set aside on their show like “Conspiracy Theory Thursday.”

The arguments were narrowed down to arming American citizens, and basically associating terrorism with one religion, which is ironic considering that a another shooting took place in Savannah, Georgia before the San Bernardino shooting where a Gunman shot four people, killing a woman and injuring three men. There was really no inquiry to the religion of the suspect. Equally, there was no clamor about the religious affiliation of Robert Dear, the suspect in the Planned Parenthood shooting who like the San Bernadino shooters, was said to be “deeply religious.” According to police, Robert Dear is Christian and is extremely evangelistic. There has been talk of calling the assault on Planned Parenthood and act of domestic terrorism.

Now, we focus on two dead suspects Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, his wife. Both are Muslim and the overwhelming verdict in the court of public opinion is that they are terrorists.

Terrorist is now culturally synonymous with Muslim.

I don’t know what is worse singling out one religion as a religion of terrorists, or, President Obama unwilling to even use the term to describe what is happening in this country.

This signals a huge culture war in America.

A perfect example of this is a cynical headline was seen in the New York Daily News as we were mourning the death toll in San Bernardino.

It cited conservative politicians urging the nation to pray and with a huge headline stated:

“GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS” implying that prayers don’t work but again, legislation will.

Whatever you might think about God or offering prayers or, even gun control, the tension these “spike events” create will eventually push us over the edge, culturally.

We have now become vicious to each other on social media sites and Twitter –the anger and speculation is creating a serious psychological schism which if left unchecked, will turn brother-against-brother and American-against-American.

These events are creating destabilization, something that makes a country vulnerable and ripe for takeover.

We have become ideologically decimated. Your opinion about every issue is a litmus test of your morality, competency and political purity.

Politics have unfortunately become a new secular religion that is literally getting in the way of our morality. It is culturally shaping us and pointing us in directions that are unconstitutional, bigoted, and xenophobic.

It is a low blow to shame people who want to pray. It is equally low to see people being shamed because they believe in constitutional rights. We are losing our social cohesion.

If God doesn’t fix things, the mainstream and social media outrage doesn’t either. Political exploitation of a tragedy to push gun agendas doesn’t fix things either.

The events of the past few months, all of the shootings and spiking events tell me that we continue to cover the same old ground and we still are angry and afraid.

It is like the lyric form that old Pink Floyd song “Wish you were here:”

We’re just (two) lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground
And how we found
The same old fears

I’m sure you’re familiar with the old axiom, “knowledge is power.” Well, information is also power. The Obama administration, the police and intelligence agencies always withhold information in all of these traumatic events that plague us.

Withholding information keeps others in the dark and at best, is irritating to them.

Withholding information breeds conspiracy theory.

Intentionally withholding information has a negative impact on others while simultaneously giving the person withholding that information power. The person who determines who needs to know has the power; the person who wants to know has a feeling of being annoyed.

Ever since the Sandy Hook shootings that happened three years ago this month, police have withheld information about the incident to the point there is a contingency of Americans who say the event never happened.

Americans now have been acquainted with “false flags” because of social rage that continued after the September 11th attacks. Now the conspiracy prone believers dismiss the majority of shooter events as false flags because of how the Obama administration exploits every event as an excuse to speak about restrictions on guns.

Have you ever been in the dark about a meeting at work or not invited to a party? Has anyone ever sent an email that you should have been copied on and weren’t? Have you ever been the last person to learn about something?

On a greater level, our government does this to us and it leads to mistrust. Withholding information comes in two forms: intentional and unintentional.

Intentionally withholding information is manipulative.

It creates speculation, and dangerous rumors about social issues. It creates disinformation and the media doesn’t help matters when they withhold information about these events or neglect to report details that may help people heal or seek justice.

It is important to step out of the media barrage of emotional baggage and anti-gun rants to understand there needs to be an investigation into the possibility that what is happening in this country is similar to organized crime.

We need to look at terrorism as just terrorism and quit the religious shaming.

We must also acknowledge that while these crimes continue, there seems to be this overwhelming avoidance of pointing the finger at who really is responsible.

We all know that suspects can be manufactured and scapegoats are always aerated by tactical police forces and later analyzed by psychologists as being disturbed, but we have been told that we have a security apparatus in place that prevents or deters such events and yet under Obama, the statistics show whatever he says he is doing to keep us safe is not working.

His only decision is to disarm America and we all know that, in a war or in a crisis, it is a good strategy to disarm your enemies and spy on them.

In fact, if you look at the track record, since all of these so-called surveillance safeguards have been employed, we have seen an increase in these “tragic” and “senseless” events and thus we have become trapped in an unsafe environment.

Regardless of what you are hearing, it is becoming more apparent these shootings are less random and are actively being planned in order to traumatize us into thinking the state can only protect us with their militarized police forces and that our own guns and self-defense skills can’t neutralize an active shooter.

The statistics are also showing a trend where gunmen enter into what are known as gun free zones to commit their crimes. Gun advocates are well-known for this tidbit of information and while it does make for a compelling argument, the advent of crisis and guns can lead to an even bigger melee and in a general overview, an even greater crisis may even damage the argument with exceptions to the rule.

The truth that faces us is mocking the old arguments and the truth is an annoying matter when it comes to who has the guns and who doesn’t. We all know why Obama wants to disarm us and that’s because those with the firepower make all the rules when it comes to a national crisis.

We all can talk a good game of doom and predict and speculate how we will all pull together in times of crisis; however, the reality makes all of the romanticized platitudes sound lame and hollow.

In every “spiking event” where there is a mass shooting, the encouragement of gun control by the President exploits the crisis and turns a tragedy into a convenient political football where the victims are not important but your political purity does.

Equally, we have conspiracy speculation that goes from questioning the details of the event to immediately dismissing it as a “False Flag” event. It is equally frustrating to hear from the various conspiracy theorists that if you question the validity of the information they present or the conclusions that a conspiracy exists based on correlation, you are a shill or not awake.

This is a clever philosophical trap. It is also a damning statement to halt any discussion of the issue. This makes their information suspect.

One of the best examples that exists is a video on You Tube explaining what happened in California was a false flag. It shows a witness being interviewed about the San Bernardino shootings and him wearing a cap with a Masonic compass on it.

This according to most of the conspiracy commentary I have been hearing is that this Masonic hat on the head of some unknown guy proves a “false flag.” The trouble here is those who say this need to remember that correlation is not causation.

When the so-called evidence seems to be so convoluted and nebulous, it seems only natural to start coming up with the improbable.

But there are patterns to consider – and I am seeing an all too familiar pattern.

I have made mention of a template existing with every “spike” event that gets the attention of the media – this template is known as the “fishbowl” or the “shooting in a fishbowl” scenario.

The shooting in a fishbowl terror scenario has a destabilization template including, drills and operations that take place near malls, theaters, schools and government facilities which coincidentally go “real time” in order to conveniently have tactical teams suited up and ready to fight against the radicalized suspects.

There are real deaths, there is real slaughter, but the outcome is then shaped and molded to create a psy-op needed to change the political climate.

Arguably, this goes beyond a false flag – it appears to be a “mission creep” operation. This operation is well-crafted by a covert group hiring disfranchised individuals that can be programmed and trained to follow through with an exercise in order to create national trauma. This is known as creating an “arc of instability.”

It is known the Pentagon and U.S. intelligence services are now spying on Americans, establishing secret prisons, training, arming, and funding local police agencies, and engaging in a host of other militarized activities and drills on American soil.

It may be a bit naïve to think that it only stops there. Sometimes, you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. In a frightening comparison, you sometimes have to sacrifice a few innocent Americans to enforce a political agenda.

This is real terrorism.

It seems there is an organized effort all over the world to destabilize country’s governments, including the United States using what is known as “tension strategy.”

Strategies of tension are age-old operative tactics that are used on a large scale in order to control people in the way the authorities wish them to behave. You may think your observations of what is happening around you in a crisis are correct, but with the tension strategies provided, you are making all of your decisions on what is happening because you are a casual observer and not a participant in the event.

Every camera angle, every sound bite, every concern, information tidbit and summation of so-called gathered facts are only media driven and public opinion driven for the sole purpose of steering the consensus toward a solution that also is directed and suggested by the controlling authority.

Tension strategies build anxiety and doubt. These anxieties and doubts are immediately tranquilized by the assumed idea the authorities will take care of it, and whatever they say has to be the truth because we trust they are always thinking of our best interests rather than self-interests.

Tension strategies have been proven tactics used to divide, manipulate and control people.

These tactics are meant to create targeted violence that can be labeled as acts of war or terror in order to get the populace to react and become desensitized to the inevitability of police or military force to move in and take control of peaceful societies.

It leads to provocation, violence and intimidation. It also creates a public mistrust of a particular race, religion or social status. It increases the level of tension in a society and makes people suspicious of each other and in return, creates the illusion they have no choice but to place their trust on a centralized power that they encourage to step in and control them.

What exacerbates the public and ignites the conspiracy theorists is how the media will continue to push national angst and tension by neglecting to report about the pain and suffering in these events. Agendas and issues relating guns and civil rights negate the consensus’ genuine concerns about the emotional toll that happens during these spike events.

The fabric of American society just does not seem to be as strong as it used to be. In fact, many would argue society is coming apart at the seams. Corruption and decay seem to be everywhere. The reaction is equally interesting and, to some degree, circumstances are becoming unbearably uncomfortable for most Americans who are of the opinion the reaction is an overreaction to hyper-reality and the idea that we are now facing the consequences of bad decisions, bad government and predictive programming leading us to the inevitable fate of culture war and civil upheaval.
