This film was shown only once, and with no advance notice on stations in only five US cities. The original Michael Eisner intro hit me right in the nostalgia.
Lost Walt Disney UFO Documentary, Alien Encounters: In March of 1995, Walt Disney Television aired an intriguing UFO special. This highly unusual UFO video special presents UFOs and alien visitation to our planet as a matter of fact.
At first glance, the special appears to be a promotion of the “New Tomorrowland” area, in particular the new “Alien Encounters” ride. This was in the mid 90′s. (This venture was cancelled almost immediately)
However, upon closer inspection…it is much more. The entire program, which opens with a short segment by Disney CEO Michael Eisner, does not even question the existence of UFOs and a major UFO cover-up. In fact, at times it has A Tone Of ridicule Towards Those Who Still Deny That UFO’s exist; quite unique ___

This makes me think that Disney Inc. was given some advance notice that disclosure was imminent and soon. Disney Inc, in an attempt to get ahead of any competition, produced and subsequently released this video prematurely. When it was decided that disclosure was not going to take place as planned, Disney had to recall the video and cancel all projects designed to capitalize on the now canceled disclosure. It also makes me think that the government had a hand in the making of this video. The government possibly was using the Disney name/reputation and professionally produced video as a means to lessen the shock to the public when disclosure occurred.

As someone who worked at Disney/Magic Kingdom/Tomorrowland in the 90′s, I know, without a shadow of doubt (and the reason is was only shown once) is that the ENTIRE THING was a publicity stunt to bring attention to the new ride Alien Encounters.
If you look at all the younger people being interviewed? They’re all wearing the exact costume that cast members from Alien Encounter wore. Some of the younger, no-name ‘witnesses’ were actually cast members from Opening Crew.
The ENTIRE thing – every second of it – was publicity for the new attraction.
The only reason it can’t be found now, is because Disney maintains control of it and it’s locked up in their archives. It was only shown in 5 cities, because they were target cities.
Remember War of the Worlds? Take heed.
I can’t understand why some one hasn’t come up with a way to read through the black that covers those words!
Because they black them out, then copy them again, resulting in nothing but the prominent black.
