Amen! I too believe in the Rapture. However, those that do not are still my brothers and sisters in Christ. I am constantly astounded that they think I will stop running the race because a “hope” did not happen. The Bible is clear that we will not know the day or the hour. I still believe it will happen on “a” Rosh Hashanah”…. If not this one, then another one. Could I be wrong? ABSOLUTELY!
It is God’s timing and not my own. I simply watch and am hopeful. Because of my desire to see His Coming, I am ever a believer in IMMINENCE which keeps me on my toes to stay on the path. Those that do not believe in the Rapture, do not seem so eager to see Him and I wonder at that, but no matter. Unlike them, I do not condemn them for their belief.
It really doesn’t matter what I think at all. It only matters what God believes and does. I hope that we can at least find common ground in that my fellow believers in Christ.
I have been disappointed before. Who has not? Many things in this life have disappointed me. Only Christ has not disappointed. It is because of my GREAT LOVE for HIM that I eagerly look for his Appearing. Until that time, I do not sit around moping, but continue to serve Him in whatever capacity He calls me.
Such is the life of a Christian. Stay on the path. Follow Christ. Never stop trusting and believing in Him and you too will be my brother or sister in Christ. We will spend eternity in Heaven with Our Father and Our Redeemer and The Holy Spirit.
He NEVER disappoints. Sometimes, we just get it wrong. No crime in that. Keep looking up and keep doing His Will. All is well. God is STILL on His Throne. We will be together in Paradise one day and then forever.
