Forecasters expect Tropical Storm Florence to become a hurricane again as it approaches the East Coast.
The latest National Hurricane Center model has most of the Carolina coast inside the “cone of uncertainty.”
Florence is expected to intensify sometime today back to hurricane status. It will become stronger very quick. As soon as Monday evening the storm could be a category 2 hurricane and by Wednesday a category 4 hurricane.
For the upstate and western North Carolina, the impacts could linger over the weekend and possibly into the beginning of the following week. via wyff4
