We are in the midst of a cold-civil war. At least Rush Limbaugh proclaimed this unnerving statement recently. I also blogged about it and discussed it in a PPS Report. 

We are at an impasse between those who are progressives and want to re-make America into something it isn’t and those of us who are traditionalists, who believe in what I would call the Judeo/Christian underpinnings of this nation.

How do we sit down with Maxine Waters who recently stated that our president, who was elected by millions of people, should be locked up in solitary confinement? There is no common ground here, only an arrogant, statement by an elitist who has made millions of dollars by “serving” in congress. There’s no room for discussion. Maxine, like many on the left, wants nothing less than Trump impeached and then locked away in solitary. Is there room for discussion? None. Can we reason together…

We can add to Maxine Waters, the so-called “squad,” who are the freshmen congresswoman and are ardent socialists. One of them Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has authored the New Green Deal which if implemented would essentially bankrupt America. The other three women are also calling for the impeachment of our president. Tlaib who has a history of antisemitic remarks, as well as anti-Israeli comments, is now selling t-shirts that say impeach the M….f…..! Really? And this women is serving in our Congress?

When Adam Schiff can essentially re-write the transcript of Trump’s phone call with the president of Ukraine and then call it a parody, we have crossed a line into the theater of the absurd and we are looking at nothing less than a Kangaroo court that has no place in America. Trump is right, Schiff should be fired immediately. 

The Main Stream Media has become nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party. They will say and print anything to suit their ends and publicly eviscerate anyone who is unfortunate enough to be found in their cross-hairs. Justice Kavanaugh is a perfect example of this. He has been falsely accused by a woman who is at best questionable. Yet, the media are like crazed lemmings, madly rushing toward the cliff of no return, that of judgment and condemnation where there is none to be found. 

Millions of Americans were called Depolarbles by Hillary Clinton, who recently has resurfaced and there is talk that she might run again—God forbid—in 2020. Can you imagine? Millions of us, because of the values that we hold dear, are labeled by someone who might have become our president, as deplorables.

Where are we headed? If the Dems do impeach Trump will we engage in civil disobedience? Will impeachment fracture the country? Will certain states succeed from our union? Will there be riots? 

Many of us realize that our government and many of its agencies are corrupt and yet because of the real collusion with our media nothing is done about it. All one need to do is to look at Joe Biden’s involvement with Ukraine and what amounted to a strong arm ultimatum which resulted in a Ukrainian prosecutor being fired for investigated Hunter Biden! Is the MSM talking about it? Of course not. Only Fox News covers it. All the other networks have given Biden a pass. Can you imagine if Trump’s son had been found to be receiving 50k a month for serving on a board of a Ukranian energy company? Double standard anyone?

In closing. We are at an impasse. The ideologies of the left, or what I would call the New Socialists is repulsive and abhorrent to many Americans. Most fair-minded folks are not for open borders, bigger government, higher taxes, the LGBTQ agenda, mass immigration, and abortion on demand. 

I think our Declaration of Independence states best where I think we may be headed.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
