Data is presented that indicates the Younger Dryas (cold period) was both initiated and terminated in one year by the impact of large comets or meteorites just as the late Royal Astronomer, Sir Fred Hoyle predicted. An impact by a stony (core) comet caused the former and an iron core one the latter. This latter impact event also caused the Atlantis catastrophe. The impact(s?) resulted in a region near western Cuba sinking slowly, some of it into the Yucatán channel. Hey Rastus, Wow I grew up on the Coffs Coast and have never heard about that before! Mind Blown & would love to know the location as I’m back often and would definitely check it out for relics etc… Have seen the Gympie relics online and the special they did on Ancient Aliens regarding Gosford Egyptian stories from the Traditional Elders. The stories are incredible including relics found around the Tin Can Bay area in QLD also…I did some work in the Caboolture area a while ago and yes there are many strange shaped Lava Plug formations called the Glass House Mountains BUT there’s one massive perfect Pyramid amongst them that from the satellite pict clearly has the 4 sides and you can make out the lines through the tress! truley amazing view also driving into the town over the crest and Boom there’s this huge perfect triangle..Needs further investigation for sure. Yes there are a lot of submerged Pyramids and a Sphinx that have been discovered in the Caribbean. There are also very large Pyramids that are larger than the Egyptian pyramids have been discovered in South America, several Eastern European countries, China and several other places all over the world. But to say that it would take 10,000 years for the ones in the Caribbean to submerge is just pure speculation. Mountains, rivers, lakes and cities can be swallowed up by massive earthquakes in a very short period of time.
Perhaps this archaeologist should take a trip across interstate I-70 in Utah where you can see rock formations three thousand feet high with the strata layers sitting at a 90 degree angle. Any amateur can see that these mountains were violently moved and displaced from there natural positions.
Maybe these pyramids are the lost country of Atlantis, but I can do without all the speculation, just the facts please until we get a little more evidence.
