Ok, I did some homework that I guess I should have done in high school. The Civil War claimed HUNDREDS of thousands of lives. It remains the bloodiest conflict in American history. But the point of my comment remains, reduction of the world population, as advocated by the guidestones, from 7 billion, to 500,000, would require the killing of billions of people. So the guidestones are a more insulting monument than the statues of Robert E. Lee.
