As the Beijing Winter Olympics is underway, there is a growing concern about China’s collection of DNA samples from participating athletes along with their penchant for genetic manipulation and enhancement of their athletes. These games could very well be a front for gathering DNA and sequencing it. In addition to genotyping, there is the issue of cultural genocide, which has been a long-standing human rights violation for decades.
