Omicron and vaccidiocy will contribute to Pfizer’s bottom line for years to come

In my last post I discussed Australia purchasing seven years’ worth of Covid shots. By the looks of it, seven years won’t be enough.

Governments are gradually tightening the screws on the population to kneel down and submit to the shot and boosters forever.

The new Omicron variant has done the job of increasing the urgency because it is spreading twice as fast as delta. Nobody has died with Omicron yet but it’s just a matter of time. The fact that the survival rate for Omicron is 100% so far doesn’t seem to be making the news. It’s about keeping the children safe, didn’t you know? Here’s what governments are doing, along with our good friends at Pfizer:

Austria to fine the unvaccinated

The country the gave birth to Adolf Hitler is embracing totalitarianism with a new urgency, levying fines of €3,600 ($4,071) twice a year for anyone over 13 who isn’t vaccinated. In time, this fine will probably be extended to those who don’t go for the booster as well. As with the rest of the world, the “opposition” parties are in lockstep (or goosestep) with the government on this. Without even a hint of irony, the minister for for constitutional affairs, Karoline Edtstadler stated:

We do not want to punish people who are not vaccinated. We want to win them over and convince them to get vaccinated.

Nothing wins hearts and minds like a $4,000 fine. Except of course $20,000 fines and possibly $45,000 fines.

This comes on the heels of a nationwide lockdown for the unvaccinated and social limitations on the unvaxxed. And if you don’t pay the fine, you can face up to a year in prison. It’s for your health.

My prediction: most will fall in line and eventually the holdouts will be ostracized and hated. Last time this happened they were forced to wear a yellow star and then removed from society.

Greece imposes $114 monthly fine on unvaccinated

Greece decided to impose a fine of €100 a month for people over 60 who refuse to get vaccinated. Having spent tax payer money buying vaccines (and booster shots) for all of these people, many of whom have had Covid already, the least they can do is take the shots they paid for.

Democratic values of “treating everyone equally irrespective of age or (vaccination) status” and respecting individual liberty seem to have been lost in the birthplace of democracy.

A quick reminder for the classical scholars out there: democracy is derived from the Greek words “demos“, meaning people, and “kratos” meaning power; so democracy used to be thought of as “power of the people“; this is misinformation: the corrected newspeak definition would be “power over the people.”

Nevada introduces a $55 a month tax surcharge on unvaccinated workers

State employees in Nevada will be hit with a $55 a month tax surcharge and $175 per unvaccinated dependent from July 2022. The US constitution states pretty clearly that this isn’t allowed, but who pays attention to the constitution these days anyway (except the right to bear arms of course).

The government claims this is to cover the cost of testing the unvaccinated, running at $2,700 a week.

Just stop testing you say? Didn’t think of that. Neither did the Nevada government.

The cost of levying this tax on specific individuals will probably cost a lot more than it will bring in, but that’s beside the point.

New Zealand’s PM announced that there is no end to the vaccination drive and Covid boosters

The lovely smiling Jacinda Ardern accidentally told the truth in an interview, admitting that there will be no end to the vaccination drive (and boosters) as long a some New Zealanders hold out.

This is just as well because the nation of 5 million people had already secured over 15 million doses a year ago — well before boosters had even received emergency use authorization.

On the upside, the country ordered 60,000 doses of Pfizer’s new Covid treatment. Yes, now that the FDA has given full approval, treatments are allowed to exist, as long as they are Pfizer or Merck.

Tony Fauci to redefine “fully vaccinated”

America’s top spin doctor, Dr Fauci, said in a press briefing that it’s only a matter of time before they have to change the definition of fully vaccinated (to include boosters). We know this because he’s been busy redefining the term “gain of function research” and no doubt helped the WHO redefine the term “herd immunity.”

Vietnam reallocates bad batch of vaccines from children to adults

In probably the biggest tear jerk move of the year, the Vietnam government pulled a batch of Pfizer vaccines after 100+ kids were hospitalized for extremely rare conditions following vaccination. Happily, most of the kids have recovered and won’t die this year.

It’s great to see a government being responsible and acting compassionately for the kids.

Having stopped injecting kids with this batch of vaccines, the government is sending it back into storage to be used for adults. You can’t make this shit up. Nothing says we love kids like “until you turn 18.”

Canada ditches Moderna for Pfizer. Will Australia follow?

Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, Dr Theresa Tam, announced that Canada would switch from Moderna to Pfizer because the rare risk of [myocarditis] following vaccination with mRNA vaccines “may be lower” with Pfizer compared with Moderna.

Hats off to Theresa! Way to walk the line between “so extremely rare that it hardly ever happens” and “we have statistically significant sample sizes of these adverse events.”

A day later, Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration rubber stamped Moderna’s request for emergency approval for booster shots. Australia is slower than Canada because the TGA likes people to think it is evaluating stuff. I think that’s what it is. Or else they’re just lazy and slow. Whether Australia follow’s Canada’s lead will probably depend on how much press the Moderna clot shot adverse events get. That is to say, the TGA is controlled by the media, which is in turn controlled by Pfizer… etc.

CDC approves boosters for teens, baby boosters coming next year

The US CDC now recommends booster shots for teens because, you know, if the first two shots didn’t work, the third will for sure.

Meanwhile, the FDA is expected to recommend vaccines for babies (kids under five) early next year. These probably won’t be compulsory, but try getting your kid into school unvaxxed. With boosters, this will literally be a cradle to grave product for Pfizer. Let’s hope not too many babies die before they get their booster shots.

Somewhere else in a parallel universe, a study showed that no kids in Sweden and Germany have died of Covid and therefore Covid vaccines for kids are, at best, a waste of time and money. Obviously misinformation. More importantly, 72-88% of kids over 12 in France, Italy and Spain have been vaccinated.

UK now requires digital passports for clubs, concerts, and sporting events

When the UK government tried to roll out digital passports for clubs it was hit with such a backlash that it was forced to withdraw the mandate. However, (and as expected) the government used the sudden panic it stirred up with the omicron variant to introduce digital passports for clubs, concerts, and sporting events.

Well done Boris. No huge outcry this time.

As with all protests everywhere in the world, highly paid public servants and politicians generally outlast unpaid and oft-arrested protesters.

Australia reintroduces mandatory quarantine for vaccinated travelers

I’m heading to Australia in January and will be fully vaccinated with two clot shots to get in (I can’t even get on the plane without them).

However, as I was expecting, the idiots in charge moved the goal posts and I’ll be heading for three days in quarantine. However that will expand to 14 if any country I travel through gets designated as an “Omicron hotspot” and may expand to 14 days anyway at the whim of the chief health officer.

Given that there are a million mutations a month with this virus (and other coronaviruses) the next variant of concern will appear as soon as necessary. My bet is May when winter is ending and cases are dropping.

Gas lighting is reducing the likelihood of adverse events being attributed to vaccines

Three stories have emerged over the past week which seem to be testing the waters to see which is going to stick the best:

1. Cold weather causes blood clots and heart attacks

This is pure gas lighting. Everyone’s been through cold weather before, but collectively could we all have forgotten that cold weather causes blood clots and heart attacks? Possibly. We just need reminding.

Fact checkers have already debunked this claim, although there don’t seem to be any posts prior to 2021 discussing the correlation between blood clots and cold weather.

2. Post Pandemic Stress Disorder is causing heart attacks in young people

This has got to be my favorite. There are so many disorders being created each year that there’s always room for another. PPSD isn’t yet recognized, but Owen O’Kane who coined the term reckons it really should be. How else can you explain so many young people getting pulmonary disorders. Specifically, up to 300,000 in the UK alone.

Can we blame Covid? Yes We Can.

3. Covid causes heart problems and strokes months or years after patient recovers

“Long Covid” is a term that was coined in 2020 even before anyone had time to have long Covid. Nevertheless, it’s now a fitting scapegoat for all those current and future young people who get myocarditis and, in an absurd twist of irony, could turn all of these super rare events into a government argument for getting the vaccine.

Whoever came up with this definitely deserves a spin doctor award. Let’s call it a “Tony Award.”

Vaccinated people who get Covid (you know, one of the rare “breakthrough” cases) and subsequently have a heart attack or myocarditis obviously needed an earlier booster shot. Or two.

Here’s what Pfizer’s CEO is thinking:

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla has been busy selling extra shots. Only a week after Omicron was named, he managed to spew out:

“I expect we will not lose any efficacy against omicron because the mode of action is not on the spike.”

This appears to be based on research carried out rather quickly in a Pfizer lab. It corrects some misinformation derived from a South African study which wrongly found that the Pfizer shots are 40 times less effective against the omicron variant compared to the original.

Seriously, who would you trust? Some dark skinned “researcher” from a third rate third world African university or Pfizer?

Wrong. The correct answer is Pfizer.

Pfizer is constantly touted as the “gold standard” of vaccine shots. We couldn’t agree more. The gold standard was abandoned in 1974 and exists now only as a reference to something that didn’t work.

Not to say we shouldn’t profit from it!
