Hypicrital Vitriol Nevertheless

I’m amazed by which people, no matter their Country of origin, race, sex, job title, etc. are so hypocritical.  The problem with this world is people are unable to step into the shoes of another that is being, or going to be, effected but their actions.

With the recent, in my opinion, fictitious/staged shootings in Arizona, involving Congresswoman Giffords,  we get a first hand look at this very thing.

On Jan 8th, the day of the shooting, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnick made the following remarks while talking to the press.

“When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government. The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous. And, unfortunately, Arizona I think has become sort of the capital. We have become the Mecca for prejudice and bigotry.” 

His statement, a perfectly legit opinion to make, is protected by his right to free speech, but as we all know actions speak louder than words, and in some cases are criminal.  The act of fraud, is one that comes to mind, and would be one that you wouldn’t expect the person tasked to protect the public from, would so readily take part in.

Two days after making the mentioned statement, Sheriff Dupnick’s department issued a mug shot of the alleged shooter. After releasing this image, he, the sheriff,  went on the campaign trail attempting to tie the reasons for the alleged shooters actions, to being a product of the vitriol found coming from the alternative media.  Although his statement was not backed up by any tangible evidence, linking the shooter to the independent media, he continued his soap box rant until being stifled by legal intervention.

I ask you this, “If a public servant takes part in the intentional misleading of the public, an act of fraud and per Arizona’s own statutes, don’t you think they should be held accountable?”  I would think even more so, since he is supposed to lead by example.  So how does someone in his position respond to the release of the real mug shot by the US Marshals showing the alleged shooter, but this mug shot, shows the first mug shot had  been doctored.   Why doctor the mug shot? The only legitimate answer to this question,  is to influence the public’s perception of the alleged shooter.  

Who at Sheriff Dupnick’s department commissioned this act?

Who actually performed the act of doctoring the photo?

Who was complaisant with its release, and propagation to the media? 

I think you know where I’m going whit this.

You be the judge.

To quote Sheriff Dupnick once again.

“I hope the American people are as mad as I am.” “I think its time as a country, we need to do a little soul searching”
