Herman Cain Makes Worst Political Ad of All Time (Video)
Forget Sarah Palin. Herman Cain is making a name for himself by being the true “Maverick” in the presidential race. As a highly successful, black Republican millionaire businessman, he doesn’t exactly fit the mold. And his latest political ad on YouTube makes the point in the most disturbing way possible.
What’s so weird? In the 60-second spot Cain’s chief of staff Mark Block is standing in front of a nondescript building entrance talking to the camera in a nonchalant, though impassioned manner.
“I really believe that Herman Cain will put ‘united’ back in the United States of America, and if I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t be here,” says Block.
A very valid point, since taking on such a high-profile job is a difficult thing for a guy who’s already got a solid political rep and can do whatever he wants to make a living.
It’s what happens next that makes the head spin. As the ad goes to the musical hook, a woman singing a lively tune with the lyric “I am America,” Block puffs on a cigarette in slo-mo and lets out a long wisp of smoke…
