Stand Up America Now will be at the University of Florida February 23rd, 5:30-7:30pm, at the Reitz Union. We will be protesting Islam Awareness Month. This is another example of appeasing Islam, an example of a violation of our First amendment. The First Amendment talks about not favoring a religion.  Islam Awareness Month, with the support it recieves from the University of Florida, is definitely favoring a religion. This is put on by the Muslim Student Association National of the United States and Canada. Their goal is to promote political Islam and institute privileges for Muslims such as Islamic foods, Muslim foot baths, special provision for prayer rooms and prayer times. Allowing these actions would be the appeasing of a particular group and is unconstitutional.

The MSA is well-known as an “incubator” of Islamic radicalism and has deep roots in the Muslim Brotherhood whose goal is to establish Islamic Sharia worldwide. The Muslim community in America is trying to push their agenda upon us with the help of organizations such as The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and MSA, with the help of political correctness, with the help of people who are unwilling to actually take a stand.  As Islam continues to push its agenda using threats, parts of America are beginning to give in. 

Islam on Campus has invited speakers to Gainesville, FL this month that support MSA’s political agenda. Altaf Husain is a former President of MSA National. Mufti Hussain Kamani is an expert in Islamic Law and Legal Verdicts (Fatwa) and is part of the Shariah Board of America’s Fatwa Department.

This evening MSA’s Islam on Campus will feature Shaykh Omar Suleiman at the event “THE LAST PROPHET,” focusing on the life of Muhammad and the ‘benefits’ of Islam. Shaykh Omar Suleiman is the Imam of Masjid Abu Bakr Al-Siddique in New Orleans, LA, and a member of the ICNA Shariah Council. The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) has launched a 2012 National Sharia Campaign to demand the consideration of Islamic Law in American Courts. Political Islam cannot separate “mosque and state,” it sees Sharia as a positive solution for society and world affairs, and will not denounce the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Muslim Student Association of America has created it’s Political Action Task Force after several MSA chapters did not react adequately enough, according to the MSA, to U.S. and international policital situations.   The MSA includes leaders such as Anwar al-Awlaki, the al Qaeda cleric who was linked to terror plots from Fort Hood to Times Square and others; Omar Hammami, a leader of the al-Shabaab terrorist group in Somalia; Abdurahman Alamoudi, who was national president of the MSA during the 1980s, was al Qaeda’s top fundraiser in America and is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence; and Ramy Zamzam, convicted in Pakistan for attempting to join the Taliban and kill American troops.

The MSA’s Political Action Task Force (PATF) plans to stage rallies, protests, and teach-ins to spearhead a united political movement.
