Houston TX In Islamic Crosshairs; Protesting The Islamization Of America With Terry Jones

2012: Islam demands submission and is the very definition of oppression. Will Texans take a stand?

The Islamization of America is upon us with the growing influence of political Islam and the push FOR Sharia in America. The Muslim Brotherhood backed groups CAIR, ISNA and ICNA are going after Houston, Texas. Under the guise of ‘freedom of religion’ they are demanding a priveleged status for Islam. Radical Islamic schools and centers are in operation in Texas. They should be shut down, but local and national government officials are appeasing Islam by attempting to shut down free speech.

On March 31, 2012, Houston will host the First Annual “Civil Rights in the 21st Century: Uniting Communities for Justice”

The day long conference will focus on “civil liberties post 9/11, immigrants rights, and criminal justice reform.”

Corey Saylor, Director of Government Affairs for the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will speak at the event. He is an expert in media’s role in promoting Islam.

It is ironic that CAIR is part of this liberal left coalition, but a typical strategy Islamists use. Islamic teaching does not produce “Peace, civil rights and justice.” The whitewashed version of Islam sold to the West claims that it does, but in Islamic nations violence, injustice and massive violations of civil rights are obvious.

On April 21st, ISNA (The Islamic Society of North America) will hold a conference in Houston. This group claimed a 400,000 membership in 2008, and is the parent organization of the radical Muslim Student Association active on University campuses across the nation. It champions ‘interfaith dialogue’ projects in partnership with liberal Jewish and Christian groups.

Their main speaker at this event is Zaid Shakir. Author Mark Steyn has challenged Shakir’s “moderate credentials… citing Shakir’s expressed hope for the conversion of America to Islam and adoption of Islamic law in America.”

On November 13, 2009 Zaid Shakir issued a lengthy statement regarding the Fort Hood shooting with this introduction:

“I begin by expressing my deepest condolences to the families of all of the dead and wounded. There is no legitimate reason for their deaths, just as I firmly believe there is no legitimate reason for the deaths of the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghani civilians who have perished as a result of those two conflicts. Even though I disagree with the continued prosecution of those wars, and even though I believe that the US war machine is the single greatest threat to world peace, I must commend the top military brass at Fort Hood, and President Obama for encouraging restraint and for refusing to attribute the crime allegedly perpetrated by Major Nidal Malik Hasan to Islam. We pray that God bless us to see peace and sanity prevail during these tense times.”

This month the Islamic Circle of North America sent out this announcement:

Houston is on their list for “Shariah education and interfaith events, town hall forums,” billboards and a media campaign. This group is more conservative than ISNA, even more adamant about the need to allow Sharia in America, and often welcomed Anwar al-Alawaki as a featured speaker at their events in the past.

Abraham Lincoln said, “To stand in silence when they should be protesting makes cowards out of men.”

We still have free speech in America and must use it while it is there. We are saturated through books, blogs, conferences and the daily news with knowledge about the products of radical Islamic teaching. It is time to act, to challenge, to publicly protest.
