Gainesville, Florida ~ Run by Gay Pride and the UN. Open Borders, Broken People.

Obama was stolen from our front lawn Saturday night. Uncle Sam, the Gay Pride flag and the ‘aborted’ doll were taken too. The American flag was left on the ground under the Gallows – no use for that, it seems. Well, this is Obama Country, Gainesville, FL. If O himself had the courage to come here, he would be paid great homage, I am sure. Our effigy on its yellow rope was not popular. But no wonder – Gainesville is broken.

Its moral base is silent, its spiritual life is locked behind church doors, and its economic potential is being crippled by the marxist UNs plans for gullible Cites anxious to be Green.

Conservatives who live by a moral code believe social issues are private matters. They don’t want to offend or be controversial (which might lead to name calling…”hate group,” “bigots”….horror!). But in the void we have a City that is a Corporate Sponsor of the Pride Community Center of North Central Florida. The City gives thousands of dollars in support services grants to this group to help them put on The 2012 Gainesville Pride Festival and Parade, to be held on Saturday, August 29th this year.

This money comes from Gainesville’s tax payers via the Department Of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. The money is also shared with groups that put on arts festivals, music festivals, air shows, Christmas decorations (oh, sorry, “Holiday” decorations at Christmas time…) and patriotic events such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Fourth of July Celebrations, and of course the big Gator Homecoming Parade.  All decent, healthy, honorable projects the whole community can enjoy.

Tell me this. Does the whole community come out and enjoy the Gay Pride Day? Is it a benefit to Gainesville? Most Christians consider homosexuality to be a sin, like adultery or prostitution. Yes, you can choose those lifestyles, but they are shameful, they are not honorable, not healthy, and it would be bizarre to put them on parade. But the City of Gainesville has lost its moral borders, its moral compass, as has the nation. We should now support, promote and pay for Gay Pride.

A growing trend in Christianity is to welcome homosexuals, even into leadership roles, without confronting the sin. Yet the sin is the reason the LGBT is so broken. They are even “proud” of their shameful choices. Yes, Jesus loves them and sees their broken condition, longing to bring them salvation and healing when there is repentance. He speaks to them like he did to the adulterous woman who was brought to be stoned. He did not agree to stone her, but he did rebuke and correct her. “Go, and sin no more.” Not, continue on and have a parade!

Where are Gainesville’s Christians?!  We are entertaining each other and forming social clubs. Then we go to the Gator games where we sing “No other Name so Glorious, all Hail Florida, Hail!” More entertainment, oh and food. Lots of food. Home, work, TV, back to church. Heads down, voices down, keep everything quiet. But broken.

Christians could organize a parade. Not with the City’s help, though. “Purely religious events are not eligible for in-kind/support services,” reads the Gainesville City Application for support service grants from the Department Of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. So Gay Pride is a benefit to the community but religion is not? Religion has ‘borders’ so of course not. And churches have their 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, who says they cannot be ‘political,’ whatever that means. Another reason to stay quiet – keep the ‘business’ afloat. A church is a business, right?

Did you ever have a dangerous tree cut down from your property and have the City tell you to plant 2 more? Make sense? Not really – it just costs you a lot of money. You cannot see the new businesses from the roads because of all the trees they had to use in their landscaping plans to get a permit to build. But the City is not in the business of economic development, helping businesses and developers keep costs down so they can hire more workers. It pays dues (my tax dollars) to the United Nations to be part of ICLEI (pronounced ‘ickley’).

ICLEI, (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives) and Agenda 21 and are a marxist-based global regime to restrict energy use and economic development. Individual and property rights, all supposedly protected by our Constitution, are bypassed for the good of the global community. Ironically this is supposed to help the poor in Africa, while the East Gainesville and that section of Alachua County will not be developed. Why? Its not “sustainable.” Are the Alligators in Newman’s lake more important than the property owners in East Gainesville? Ask a Gainesville City Commissioner.

Oh, and if you are thinking of building an industry in or near Gainesville, your workers won’t be able to afford to get to work because the gas prices are so high. We are all supposed to be riding bicycles, you see.

Welcome to Bicycle Friendly, Butterfly City, Audubon Cooperative, U.S. Green, Gay Proud, Gainesville, FL, Tree City USA. And your children will all look like they are in a rainbow at school. Plain colored shirts, no images, no comments, global sustainability and lgbt pride in their text books. No borders.

Maybe its the butterflies in East Gainesville we are protecting. Makes more sense than alligators!
