Rogue U.S. General "Arrested" for Activating Special Forces Teams; Ignoring Libya Stand-Down Order

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The official story surrounding the events of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya which left four Americans dead, has now officially fallen apart.

After numerous flips and flops by the Obama administration, which originally attempted to paint the incident as a Muslim outcry over an anti-Islamic video, whistle blowers throughout the U.S. government, including within the White House, the State Department, national intelligence agencies and the U.S.military have made available stunning details that suggest not only did operational commanders have live visual and audio communications from drones overhead and intelligence assets on the ground, but that some commanders within the military were prepared to go-it-alone after being told to “stand down.”

Africom commanding officer U.S. General Carter Ham, after being ordered to essentially surrender control of the situation to alleged Al Queda terrorists and let Americans on the ground die, made the unilateral decision to ignore orders from the Secretary of Defense and activated special operations teams at his disposal for immediate deployment to the area.

According to reports, once the General went rogue he was arrested within minutes by his second in command and relieved of duty.

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.

The question now is whether the American people will hold to account the chain of command responsible for leaving our people behind, fabricating a politically expedient story, and continuing to sell the now defunct lie(s) even after all of their variations of the story were found to be false and misleading.

A General who made the decision to assist diplomatic and intelligence assets on the ground has been arrested and will likely be retired or worse, while those who ordered the removal of embassy security details and ordered U.S. forces to stand-down are left to go on about their business and likely risk more American lives in the future.

In some circles the actions of those at the very top of the command structure during the Bengzahi attacks would be considered traitorous.

Though Benghazi is a serious matter it is nothing compared to what is going on in the continental USA at this moment. Benghazi may even be a cover.
Hurricane Sandy is much more serious than anyone is reporting except for the ‘tin hat’ brigade. Thank heavens for them.
If the hurricane develops as expected this will be the largest peacetime loss of life in American history.
Expect major disruptions to all essential services for weeks if not months.

      • anonymoustache

I disagree because if an obvious anti-American puppet such as this is in charge and it is even considered reasonable by most people that he can even be considered for a second term-
where are we going as a country?

Are most people oblivious to all this?

Aside from all the conspiracy scenarios.

      • TeenBo

Wow, hyperbole much? More people are shot on any given weekend in Chicago than will die in the US during this hurricane.

      • putupjob

Largest Loss of life in peacetime???
The most people killed ever were 6000-12000 in Galveston Texas around 1900 from a hurricane surge.
It is ironic that your bull is about a hurricane and the real incident was a hurricane.

Vote Obama. You’re done next Tuesday.

      • Anonymous

So far a whole 17 people have lost their lives due to the hurricane. More people are murdered in Chicago every month than will die as a result of the hurricane.

      • Grrrrrrrrr.

Obama came and told everyone not to worry he was there to save them. he forgot to tell them he was headed to Vegas the next day oops.

      • Obamascrewed

Did you really compare an uncontrollable Natural Disaster to acts of war…and then go so far as to call it a “cover”???
The level of stupidity our country has reached…

If only all of the military would disobey the usurper.

    • Patriot

The general should be lauded as a TRUE PATRIOT.
Obama should be charged with TREASON &/or impeached,
and the lower-ranking general should be relieved of command or censored for lack of service to the US people.

We don’t want the military to be mere dogs of rogue politicians.

      • Ryan Fanus

If only the entire military of the USA were to stand up to the puppets of Washington and their shadowy puppeteers then we could have a real revolution. (sigh) I can dream can I.

        • truth101

If you don’t mind I’ll share that dream, and pray that it comes true.

      • Eastpak200

Here’s the deal. General Carter Ham Disobeyed a direct order from his Superior, the Secretary of Defense. At the Time it Appears to have been a Lawful Order. As such he is bound by his oath as an office and his oath as a member of the United States Military to follow that order. As such his subordinate General was completely correct at relieving him of command and countermanding his (because he had received a lawful order to stand down) Unlawful order. There is a chain of command for a reason. If this had happened at ANY level then charges should have been brought at the individual responsible. From the General on top, to the Officer in charge of his special assets under his command. As unsettling and revolting as this may seem it is the militarily correct action to have taken place. Now, having said that; General Ham did exactly what the other part of his oath tells him to do, which is to defend American Citizens wherever they may be to the best of his ability. Unfortunately the Lawful Order supersedes that portion of his oath. That doesn’t mean it was right. If there were assets in the area that could have Saved The Lives of the Civilians in Benghazi, it is CRIMINAL that they were countermanded by the SECDEF, or Whomever was responsible for the order. It is Criminally Stupid that their requests (the ambassador and or his staff) for additional protection were IGNORED and DENIED and forced to remain in an untenable/unsafe situation. Unfortunately that doesn’t make it Illegal however. I do hope that General Ham is exonerated, even if it means his forcible retirement. He followed his belief that it is his job to protect the lives of Americans from those that seek to do them harm. And as a member of our Military it is. BUT, Remember as far as we know he received a Lawful Order to stand down for a higher authority. There evidently did not appear to be credibly an Unlawful (the stand down order) Order. As Such, until the evidence comes out in a potential trial/investigation, much to my regret. General Ham was wrong to disobey a direct order from his Lawfully appointed superior. As Such his 2nd in command was absolutely correct to relieve him of command, and the forces under his command would have been just as guilty if they did not recognize the authority of the order to relieve him. I don’t agree with it, If our servicemen could have gone in and saved the lives of the civilians (Which is their job, to place themselves in harms way to protect those that should not be there) then it was right. It would have been right (even though tragic) if any members of those team that was going to go in Died to save the lives of even 1 of the civilians. The Decision not to even send Air Assets in to provide cover (which were apparently available) was wrong and I believe that whomever made the decision to stop all support was Wrong. Hopefully there will be an investigation, it will be shown that they were wrong, and then appropriate censure/action will be taken. But even though I’m rambling through this, Remember. Whomever issued those orders, will have to live with them for the rest of their lives. They will have to Know that they were responsible for the Preventable Deaths of those victims. And I hope they are haunted by their decision for the rest of their lives.

        • Grrrrrrrrr.

What are the chances that those that made the order to stand down get prison time? brought to justice so to speak for allowing those americans to be murdered?

        • robobbob

American soldiers are not bound to accept orders that violate the law or morality. it is what has separated America from the rest of the world.
I would like to know what weasel MPs enforced the arrest. I can guarantee that if actual combat troops, and most definitely the special forces operatives had been in that headquarters, the results would have been much different.

    • barb patton

This information boggles the mind and is confirmation that there are those in the military that cannot and will not follow instructions by theayatollah barack hussein (I wish I could use my middle name)9MUSLIM) obama. This general deserves a medal and should be recognized as a hero of the American people. STAND DOWN – who the hell does the ayatollah barack think he is?? WAKE UP AMERICA

    • Anonymous

I’d really like the name of the “second in command” that “arrested” the General. It should be splashed all over the internet.

      • jgrow

I agree with you anonymous. How could he even consider doing that unless he wants a promotion more quickly! Using someone elses brass ones on “order he is no longer in command” just so he can rise more quickly! Wonder how he would feel had someone used him as a climbing pole!

If Romney wins the Presidency, I would pray he reinstates General Ham with full honors. Those that turned against the general and followed their orders should be reasigne to latrine duty in Antartica for the rest of their careers. If Obama wins again, the spinless, political, sycophants in uniform will take over and they will move to kiss the enemy rather then protect our Nation. A vote for Romney is the right beginning!

Sorry Obot–lots of support for this one…just check around:

On October 18, 2012, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta announced that President Obama will nominate General David Rodriguez to succeed General Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command.

      • faro0485

October 18? That is well after September 11.

It looks like the Army guy was not the only General on Obamas replace list. Others who wanted the help the American in Libya were also replaced:

      /alternative/2012/10/obama-fires-top-admiral-as-coup-plot-fears-grows-2487368.html

In an unusual move, the Navy has replaced an admiral commanding an aircraft carrier strike group while it is deployed to the Middle East. The replacement was prompted by an Inspector General’s investigation of allegations of inappropriate leadership judgment.

Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette, the commander of the USS John C. Stennis strike group, is being returned to the United States for temporary reassignment.

    • mmkkpro

This is an outrage, this country is in deep trouble just sit back and watch 4 americans die and say it wasnt optimal, wtf does that mean,no one has paid for killing those people and no one will be.sad,sad,sad.

Shade of USS Liberty??? Anyone thinking Benghazi Mossad operation?

    • Freewilloffering

      Look what else I found:

General Ham had been in command of the initial 2011 US-NATO military intervention in Libya who, like Admiral Gaouette, was fired by Obama. And as we can, in part, read from US military insider accounts of this growing internal conflict between the White House and US Military leaders:

“The information I heard today was that General [Carter] Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

This article should be titled ” Rogue, treasonous POTUS has Hero General arrested for trying to save and rescue Benghazi attack victims.”

I salute you General Ham for your bravery and courage to take a stand against all domestic enemies!

    • Pateriot

Around this time the Admiral in charge of one of the Fleets in the arena was relieved of hie duties and sent back State-side. Suposedl he has been accused of using “poor professional judgement”. I wonder if that means that he was a Patriot as well. Screw this anti-American, Marxist administration!! Even the military brass are figuring this out and are standing up to it!!!

    • lindarosemary

The Big O, will screw with the military generals only so far, and then they will turn on him, and I say God Speed to them

    • gataheart

      General Ham,

My hat’s off to you. Were only the top brass in all Military to “STAND UP TO OVAMOT” ..take him in chains and try him for HighTreason and MURDER. He needs to pay the ultimate price AND that’s not near enough!

    • Gringo Bush Pilot

The speculation that General Carter Ham is departing Africa Command (AFRICOM) due to events in Benghazi, Libya on 11 September 2012 is absolutely false. General Ham’s departure is part of routine succession planning that has been on going since July.

Why should the military obey the orders of a person that do not comply with the constitutional requirements to be president?

An usurper, is not a commander in chief.

    • libertyGodfearignpatriotprotected bysecondammendment

From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we fight to make this country peace loving and free. This man is a patriot, plain and simple. He’s called on by a higher power, one that liberals with their false God can’t see. God bless America!

    • Madmatt

This is all hogwash. You people are soooo deluded. Generals cant go rogue. None of you are fit for service. A bunch of dumb idiots the lot of you.

      • tsweeney

Generals can’t go Rogue. And they all agree 100% with whatever our Beloved Commander in Thief has ever done and will ever do. Heil Hitler! Off with their mutinous heads!

“Just obeying orders, Sir, my orders were to stand down and watch my brothers being gang-raped by a large crowd of Jihadi’s while our American Embassy was burned to the ground and while 3 other U.S. Servicemen fought to their deaths in a life and death firefight that we watched in real time, even though we could clearly see that Ambassador Stevens was still alive, as one after another the laughing Jihadi’s took their turns brutally pumping their penis’s as forcefully as each one could into Steven’s rectum, while the other Jihadi’s held his arms, waiting their turn, to express their own rage and frustration and hatred each his own, we watched, and wondered, would we be next? Will what happened to Stevens now become the common fate of all American soldiers who risk their lives to defend our country? Now that the whole world knows that it is an acceptable practice to bd able to torture and gang rape any American, anywhere in the world, and rest assured there will be no consequences, because under our beloved President Barack Hussein Obama, THIS IS THE NEW NORMAL?

Sure, ok, I got it now! No wonder more American servicemen committ suicide than die in combat. Anything is better than what we just watched in Benghazi.

    • Anonymous123618387200828929

The Benghazi situation was a staged ‘trap’ for those that might not follow orders and actually try to defend US Citizens. We just lost some high ranking allies in the battle for freedom, and for support of the Constitution. The powers to be have been weeding out military officers for the past decade. And, you really thought that the useless/worthless wars were for oil, gold, poppy, or terrorism?

To those that stood around and did nothing, and to those that will brainlessly follow orders like zombies, when you stand trial, following unlawful orders is a not a valid defense.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

      • tsweeney

How. does he continue to get away with murder day after day? What will it take to stop this guy from engaging in more illegal acts that violate our constitution, our laws, and our dignity? If Pride Goeth before the fall, lets just swallow our pride and get this show on the road! While we still can do something besides watch tv and wait to get nuked by Iran, China, Russia, or Pakistan.

    • TurtleCreeWoman

When a General 4 star is relieved of his command, this is outrageous. Did he not take a oath?. They may think that all this can be swept under the carpet. There are good and true Americans who will not forget. This General very well could of helped save lives. The question is why did they want them to die?.

    • Anonymous

We must keep pushing and pushing and pushing this story, even though our narrative is nonsense, based on hysteria, based on conspiracy theories, based on desperation, we must push this nonsense with endless diatribes of clever talking points stitched together to look like thoughtful articles. We can make this into our October surprise. Even though it is nonsense and gaining no national traction at all, we must continually push this nonsense. And get some bandages for our knuckles.

    • Orion

In other countries the Army would have removed the President for treason and have taken over the government until elections could took place!

Our founding fathers were always afraid of a president becoming a dictator and that is why we were allowed to own guns – it was to defind our country and our consitution from take over – not just merely hunting and killing each other!

When an elected president in Honduras went against the Honduran Constitution – their Army excilled him on grounds of going against their consitution and trying to implace a communist government – what did this administration do – try to impose Honduras to take back their communist leader – they stood firm and did not! We should be as firm!!!!

(sorry for any misspelled and gramical errors – I did this in a hurry)

      • Grrrrrrrrr.

will our milatary stand up for it’s people?

    • coolflannelcat

Disagree, Moriyah. Benghazi shouts “treason.” Victims of the storm will recover. It was an act of God, not an act by the commander in chief. The Benghazi coverup is FAR more important than the hurricane. It reflects an attitude by the President, and goes against everything we stand for.
As for this storm, I live in Texas and no one seemed this bent out of shape when Hurricane Ike came through, Hurricane Katrina, or the largest wildfire in the history of the State of Texas practically wiped out an entire city, a state park and more than 1600 homes. Where was that “cutting through red tape” by the president then?

    • AZRanger

This is a very horrible stuation, and one that has far greater impact than what it seems at first blush. I believe that the administration was trying to keep fromm being exposed for having created another Fast and Furious, but this time running guns to theMuslim Brotherhood.
This is exactly what the Communists in charge were trying to do, as part of the Caliphate destabilization program! Ultimately, they want to establish a dictatorship in this country, but that will be very difficult, because the American people are well-armed, and now, very wide awake!
Cowardly pieces of crap, all of them! Just remember America, “The only good Communist, is a dead one!”

If Americans do nothing to put Obama and his administration behind bars then we are just as guilty as they are of murdering these 4 Americans. Sorry but the facts are in and Obama is in deep crap. All Americans should be BURNING up Darrell Issa’s phone lines demanding an immediate hearing into the facts of this event. His number is: 202-225-3906 Fax 202-225-3303. Select Option #1 for your best bet of talking with someone. Can’t get through then FAX A LETTER. Do it today and do it EVERYDAY until there is a hearing scheduled. Only Darrell Issa (Chair of House Oversight Committee) can make this happen.

I am in NJ and I can tell you NJ HAS seen worse. They are overplaying hurricane Sandy and I think it is to cancel the elections next week. The storm was bad, don’t get me wrong but I have spent my entire life in NJ and PA and we have seen worse hurricanes and storms than hurricane Sandy.

Well, that just about sums up what our consular overseas staff can expect in the way of military support:

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Were they expecting a telegram from Al Quaida? Hey boys, here’s the situation, you can come in and attack us now. We’re gonna murder your Ambassador, you best hurry!

I can’t hardly stomach voting for either fraudulent political party, but for God sake, who in their right mind would vote to put these quislings back in office!

LEFT TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES WHILE OUR CIC DID NOTHING…TWO commanders who layed their careers on the line HAVE NOW BEEN fired, or relieved of command when the real PROBLEM LIVES IN THE WHITE HOUSE. I hope all of our ARMED FORCES ARE WATCHING …for when the time comes when the CIC issues the order to take away the weapons of AMERICANS. HE LEAVES MILITARY AND CIVILIANS TO DIE, and orders those who would come to the defense to STAND DOWN! I SERVED this COUNTRY in a Day when any president who did this would never be elected to anything… EVERAGAIN… AND WOULD HAVE BEEN RELIEVED OF COMMAND or WORSE.

When the story broke – Benghazi has no “consulate’ or “embassy” lok at the state dept website….it was the HQ of the Al Qaeda hired by CIA Stevens. The meeting – they wanted money and US wanted them to turn in their guns given them. They were visited prior by several fathers of local “boys” that Stevens ordered his Al Qaeda thugs to solicit sex for money. The crowd got riled up…needless to say…as it should happen in this country. They attacked, raped gay pedophile Stevens, sodomized him with objects (as they do to gay pedophiles in the middle east), then dragged him all over the area. Where is the “patriot? A gay, pedophile, CIA crook starting more war for big oil? This anti-Obama campaign is backing the wrong side. Wake up! you don’t need this propaganda to sink Obama…he’ doing a fine job of it, himself!

Who is the second in command? A wolf in sheep’s clothing or just a sheep? A traitor or a communist? There is something wrong with a soldier that refuses to protect one of his fellow soldiers in harm’s way. The real story is not about General Hamm, although his story should not be forgotten, but who in the world is the second in command and what in the world is going on with that soldier? These Middle Eastern wars/conflicts are not bringing democracy to a region and why would the United States need to fight any war for some other country’s freedom? Why are our military across the globe guarding poppy fields in Afghanistan while waging a war on drugs at home? That is pretzel logic. Al Qaeda and the CIA are the same thing. They use the “poppy product” to fund their operations. Could they also have been on the embassy walls? One Libyan insurgent was standing inside the embassy dragging a dead ambassador with clean undershorts that looked like they came from Brooks Brothers. Do Libyan insurgents wear Western style undershorts or do traitorous CIA operatives? Does anyone actually believe that a Muslim or Muslim males sodomized a man in front of their peers? If sodomy is a legally accepted practice of torture in any country, then I would have to say that they are not ready for democracy. They need dictators who can take care of their own “great unwashed.”
The CIA is an evil organization whose headquarters is located on American soil. They are the enemy of every man, woman, and child in our country. They are not one of us. They are against us and every other law-abiding citizen of every country across this globe. No one can serve two masters. The CIA is an organization that is out-of-control and practices treasonous activities on its own citizens.

    • PeoplePower

We’ve got a muslim implant that is loyal to the muslim brotherhood, and a cabinet full of czars that have NO military experience trying to dictate how the boots on the ground handle a situation that they are familiar with telling them to stand down to let their men die? Now the un-natural manipulation of hurricane sandy through geo engineering chemtrails and haarp electromagnetic impulses directing the storm inland to kill the american citizens and destroy property, when is enough going to be enough to take this traitor out?

    • Dr. Bob Uda, Ph.D., CM, CHSP, ILO

Rogue Hussein Obama should be hanged for this screwup. He told everyone to do whatever was necessary to save the ambassador and others. Then, he renigs on that order. What a renigger! The general is a hero. He should be given a medal, not relieved of command. We need to relieve the commander-in-chief of command. Hopefully, that will happen on November 6, 2012.

I just can’t believe reporters don’t know enough to ask the right questions! It’s infuriating.

Libya, as far as standing down the rescue, is 100% Obama’s show, and nobody else’s. Only he can grant CBA, not Biden, not Panetta, not Dempsey, not Hillary, and certainly not Ham in Germany.

The entire episode is explained perfectly inside the context of not granting CBA. The CIA QRF in Tripoli? No problem, send them on the local Tripoli station chief’s say-so. He merely informs up COC that he has done so. CCs them so to speak. “This is what I am doing.” Ditto if Predators were in country, no problem using them.

But the big rescue air armada streaming toward Libya right away after the alarm got to Stuttgart and Africom? That has to stop. I believe at the 5pm meeting with Panetta and Biden in the Oval Office, he said, “No outside military intervention,” on the basis that the last report was the “lull” from the consulate, at about 1030 p.m. In Benghazi, when the attack appeared to be over and the situation stabilizing.

(As a soft exception, Obama may have authorized sending an unarmed Predator from outside of Libya, but I am thinking the two Predators were already in-country, and hence available to use within “no CBA granted” rules.)

“No outside military intervention” equals “no cross-border authority” and that constitutes “standing orders” until POTUS changes them. Nobody else can “un-decide” the POTUS decree. The rescue air-armada of C-17s, C-130s and SOF helos like MH-47 Chinooks and Pavehawks cannot proceed directly to Libya without CBA being granted, so instead they are all staged at Sigonella, Sicily.

USN ships are in position to “lilypad” helos for long over-water flights. Airborne tankers are coming into position. SOF forces in Sigonella are going over their gear for different contingencies. Fuming all night as officers keep checking in with operational commanders. “Hold in place, no rescue yet. We can’t find the President, it sounds like,” say the colonels to the majors and captains. 100s of military must know about this. I keep waiting for the conclusive whistle-blowers to come forward BEFORE the election. After won’t matter, it will be for the historians.

Panetta is falling on his sword for Obama with his absurd-on-its-face, “The military doesn’t do risky things” defense of no rescue. Panetta is destroying his future reputation entirely, to save Obama. The question is why? Loyalty?

Petreaus was probably “used” in some way early, about the supposed CIA Intel link to the Mohammed video, and now he feels burned. So he conclusively said via his PAO, “The stand-down order did not come from CIA.”

Well, what is higher than CIA? Only White House. Obama, nobody else. Petreaus is naming Obama without naming him.

Now, as far as Obama / Huma Abedin / Valerie Jarrett etc actually wanting Ambassador Stevens dead, to terminate the end of the very dirty Libyan arms to Syrian AQ programs, I can’t speculate. Obama is not competent enough, I’m thinking.

But for sure, the ambassador going to unsecure Benghazi on 9-11 of all days stinks to me of a setup. You can bet Stevens would have told the Turks, “No, 9-11 is not a good day for us,” and stayed in Tripoli behind many high and thick walls. For him to go to dangerous Benghazi on 9-11 means the Turks totally insisted, but why would they care about the meeting date, unless they were in on a “hit” as the Judas goat?

Alternatively, ordering Stevens to meet the Turks in Benghazi on 9-11 may have come from down OUR chain of command. Stevens seems to have been wearing two hats as ambassador and CIA arms shipper. Moving between more-secure Tripoli, the Benghazi “consulate,” and the CIA “annex.” So orders to him might come down the State or the CIA commo channels, or both. I am unclear on his job title and true position, but either the CIA or State sends him final instructions. How this works with “dual-hatted” ambassadors, I haven’t a clue.

But Stevens meeting the Turks at the unsecure Benghazi “consulate” on 9-11 stinks to me of a deliberate setup. The Turks left the meeting and probably flashed their headlights to the attack team commanders lurking in shadows. A coded text, a word on a phone, meaning, “The ambassador is there, with minimal security: proceed with the attack plan.”

That is all pure speculation. What I know FOR SURE is that the big “stand down order” issue revolves around granting or withholding cross-border authority.

Every SOF officer and ops officer all the way up has this drummed into his head. We can make Obama respond to this question, even if reporters must shout it at him while he’s doing storm cleanup photo ops. If the reporters KNOW enough to ask the quesion.

That’s why I am shouting all over the internet about CBA.

I can’t believe cross-border authority permission is not one of the top discussion points about Benghazi.

That, and who “set him up” by sending him to Beghazi to meet the Turks on 9-11, with them leaving after dark.

And of course, down the road, was the military rescue-in-progress turned back because Obama actually wanted to make sure the consulate was wiped out? Is that why the spooks at the annex were refused permission to travel the under one mile to intervene? That would connect it all together, but for now, the best focus is on Obama either granting or withholding cross-border authority for the rescue.

This POS we have pretending to by president and commander-in-chief is a national disgrace and should be tried for treason! He and his alleged Secretary of Defense know nothing about military operations and should get the hell out of the way of those who do. After serving twenty years in the military and two tours in SE Asia during the Vietnam war, as well as being a crew member with my finger poised to push the button on a strategic missile during the Cuban crisis, I believe I am qualified to comment on military operations. What Obama and Panentta did was treasonous and renders both guilty of dereliction of duty. Their duty is to protect American lives and both failed miserably! Never in my twenty years of service did I hear such a stupid statement as that of Panetta when he said: “(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” . What the hell is the purpose of the military but to go in harm’s way to protect American lives? They are both incompetent and dangerous to our country and should be removed from office immediately!

This is dis information. I have it on very good authority that General Ham was not arrested. He followed the stand down order. A quick response team of 8 Marines was sent to Benghazi from Tripoli Embassy.

The big question is why Obama did not want the “Kidnapping” of the Ambassador stopped. What was his agenda? Was he going to “Be the hero that released the hostage?”
Was he working with the terrorists?
Where did all the confiscated weapons go from the warehouses?

    • Grrrrrrrrr.

what is greater the oath to protect americans or following orders? Not sure I want the answer LOL

What a pathetic situation! The American people must have the real story on Benghazi. It is either a profound coverup of un-American actions perpetrated by the President and his chief administrative team, or it is a breach of well-established military discipline. Which is it?

We are not living in the America our forefathers envisioned. Our leadership is inept to say the least, or it is treasonous and working against the interests of the American people. We need to know! We must know!

Where are the voices that will not stand for lies, perfidy, you name it. Our young people are facing danger around the world and doing the jobs they were trained to do, even as our leaders are lying to us, and our press is complicit and totally unreliable. What is the use of a “free” press, if it is being run by people who are blind to the truth or do not report critically important information.

We need the emergence of a truth teller, a person of conviction who will stand up to the liars now in command and bring them down. WE NEED AN HONEST, COURAGEOUS LEADER!

General Ham, a highly regarded flag ranker, has had his career ruined by Obamateur, the Coward in Chief, merely for trying to do his job, which includes trying to aid Americans under siege.

      Your kidding…I hope.
The SANDY thing is a farce fabricated to distract voters from the Libyan scandal.
It is a cat 1 hurricane, with minor storm surge, & it’s losing even it’s rain field dramatically.
Windstorms from noreasterers probably get almost as bad as SANDY will be, except that SANDY is, well, a LITTLE larger than some prior big NE storms. The problem with the approaching cold front is the only tricky part, but no likely to cause so much loss of life as you suggested (unless people up there are REALLY stupid). Well, there ARE lots of Dems & GLBT peeps up that way, so who knows — turkeys drown in storms by looking up, or so I’ve heard.

      Roger that.

You missed that call, my friend

No I didn’t. Somehow my reply got mispositioned. I meant it to be applied to Patriot’s post earlier on.
