Jenny Beth has been on the phone all afternoon trying to get the skinny on what’s going on with the Speakership.  Right now the information she’s getting is that the most important thing we can push for right now is the secret ballot when voting for the Speaker, otherwise it is a roll call done in alphabetical order, putting a lot of pressure on people who’s names come up later.

If you’re making calls, please ask your rep to vote for the secret ballot when it is presented.
