Why Isn't It Obama's Fault?

Original story from Red Statements written by Steven H Ahle

The first reaction from the left after the Boston Marathon Bombing (BMB) was that it had to be committed by a right wing extremist.  Of course that’s what they always say.  Remember Newtown? Colorado movie house?  Gabby Gifford?  All were supposedly right wing extremists but were all liberals as was the Unabomber and many other mass murderers.  Even Obama got into the act, guessing it was a white right wing extremist upset by tax week.

Liberals are freaking out because they think Obama doesn’t deserve the blame.  And perhaps he doesn’t…directly.  However, with further investigation, it becomes clear which side Obama is on.  We begin our journey during his community organizing days.  In those days it was far from unusual to find him palling around with known terrorist sympathizers.  Here is a picture of Obama and Michelle sitting at Edward Said’s table at a meeting of the AAAN, an antiIsraeli group.

That picture came from the website owned by Ali Abunimah, Obama friend and AAAN member, who felt betrayed by Obama when he decided to run for office and went to AIPAC, the Jewish PAC, to raise money.  The third member of the AAAN, Obama is close friends with Rashid Khalidi.  All three have close ties to terrorists.

Edward Said has written that Israel is the aggressor and the Palestinians are the victims. Funny, I don’t seem to recall Israel raiding the Palestinians to take them hostage, suicide bombers, or unprovoked missile attacks from Israel.   Both he and Khalidi brought Ahmadinejad to Columbia University.  Ahmadinejad is known for monetarily and materially supporting terrorism.

Abunimah is vibrantly anti Israel and accused Obama of pretending to be a friend of Israel just as long as it would keep him in power.

In an interview earlier this year (2008) for the leftist radio show “Democracy Now!,” a daily TV and radio news program hosted by Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez, Abunimah said he knew Obama for many years as his state senator “when he used to attend events in the Palestinian community in Chicago all the time.”

“I remember personally introducing him onstage in 1999, when we had a major community fundraiser for the community center in Deheisha refugee camp in the occupied West Bank,” he recounted. “And that’s just one example of how Barack Obama used to be very comfortable speaking up for and being associated with Palestinian rights and opposing the Israeli occupation.”

About face ‘to get elected’ The Arab-American activist went on to say: “In 2000, when Obama unsuccessfully ran for Congress I heard him speak at a campaign fundraiser hosted by a University of Chicago professor. On that occasion and others Obama was forthright in his criticism of US policy and his call for an even-handed approach to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.”

“Obama’s about-face is not surprising,” Abunimah wrote. “He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected and he will continue doing it as long as it keeps him in power.”

Abunimah, like Said blames the violence in the Middle East as Israel’s fault.  He does not believe the violent acts by Palestinians is terrorism.  As the chairman of the Woods Fund Charity, Obama, and fellow board member William Ayers, a confessed terrorist,  gave grants to the AAAN of 40,000 dollars (2001) and another 35,000 dollars in 2004.

Rashid Khalidi was Yassar Arafat’s US spokesman for the PLO.  Here is a portion of a LA Times article.  The Times has the complete video of that night’s festivities which they refuse to release.

{His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been “consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. . . . It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”

Today, five years later, Obama is a U.S. senator from Illinois who expresses a firmly pro-Israel view of Middle East politics, pleasing many of the Jewish leaders and advocates for Israel whom he is courting in his presidential campaign. The dinner conversations he had envisioned with his Palestinian American friend have ended. He and Khalidi have seen each other only fleetingly in recent years.

And yet the warm embrace Obama gave to Khalidi, and words like those at the professor’s going-away party, have left some Palestinian American leaders believing that Obama is more receptive to their viewpoint than he is willing to say.

Their belief is not drawn from Obama’s speeches or campaign literature, but from comments that some say Obama made in private and from his association with the Palestinian American community in his hometown of Chicago, including his presence at events where anger at Israeli and U.S. Middle East policy was freely expressed.}

Now, let’s move on to when Obama began running for office.  In the past Obama has denied that his first fundraiser was held in the living room of admitted terrorists, William Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn.  However, Ayers has openly said that he did indeed hold that fundraiser.  And although Obama and his supporters have said there was only incidental contact between the two, that too has been proven to be a lie.  As head of the Woods Fund, Obama directed several contributions to groups led by Ayers and his wife.

And remember when Obama supporters chastised conservatives about Obama and Ayers sharing the stage at a Chicago event?  Both they and the Obama campaign shrugged it off, saying they just both happened to be on the stage together and that it wasn’t Obama’s doing?  Guess who selected the speakers for that night.  Michelle Obama.

As president, Obama’s allegiance to terrorists seems to have gotten stronger.  He helped the terrorist organization topple Mubarak, who had always been a staunch ally of America in favor of the militant terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood.  He has even appointed several sympathizers of the MB to his administration, mostly in the state department.  He invited a terrorist from the MB to the White House.  He has recently sent F16 jets to Egypt, (24) here and here.  He also sent them 140,000 tear gas canisters.  And on top of that, he sent 1.5 billion in taxpayer money to Egypt.

And that is not the only place he helped radical Islamists take over.  He also aided Al Qaeda in their battle with Gaddafi using air support to back up the jihadists.  It is believed that Al Qaeda used those weapons in the attack in Benghazi and Algeria.  He has now sent 200 armored vehiclesu . to Lebanon, which is controlled by Hezbollah.  He also gave them  including six Huey 2 helicopters, a 42-metre coastal security craft, more than 1,000 guns – including grenade launchers – and 38 million rounds of ammunition.

And this president seems to show no stomach for punishing terrorists.  No one has ever been held accountable for the Benghazi attacks or the raid in Algeria, that saw Americans killed in the process.  In fact Obama agreed for Tunisia to release Benghazi suspect,  Ali Harzi, 26.  He has also refused to force Egypt, the recipient of so much US aid to allow our intelligence people to question Muhammad Jamal al Kashef, who is suspected of playing a significant role in the  terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, has longstanding ties to the al  Qaeda-linked jihadists who helped incite a protest in Cairo earlier that  same day.

And right here in America, where a radical Muslim killed 13 people and wounded over thirty more.  Obama is calling it “workplace” violence and not a terror attack.

Obama claims that Islamaphobis is what is diving the Muslims from Americans.  I believe the real dividing point is all those dead Americans.
