Happy Mother’s Day 2013– A Poem to my Wife

Love of Country Blog Stands for our Constitution  To My Wonderful Wife
 
I think in times forgotten where the lilac beds do lie
Where spring fresh rain caresses love and nothing dares to die
Where humming birds and honey bees find flowers there to please
And never dares a winter’s chill to bring a cooling breeze.
I think in places only seen by angels up above
Is where my heart submits to you that never ending love.
I think these years of nectar sweet have made my favorite wine
And all these years of happiness have rendered life sublime.
So once again it’s Mother’s day and you my love so fair
Fulfill my hopes and all my dreams for you are very rare.
You are my life my very breath God’s whisper in my ear
And in that quiet place of life is where I hold you dear.
