Obama—Lame Duck President?

Now that Obama is 100 days into his second term, I have to ask about his accomplishments.  Does he have any?   I know he just forced a gun law down our throats against the wishes of the people and I know he has increased his regulations on business, but what has he accomplished?  

During his last press conference he couldn’t give an intelligent answer to most of the questions and as he stammered around looking for ways to equivocate, I couldn’t help but notice his detracted manner.

He didn’t get his way on the gun control measure and that certainly got his attention.  He was noticeably miffed about not getting his way.  My question to our lame duck president would be; why should you get your way with such a really bad idea? 

Everyone knows your agenda is not to control guns but to get rid of guns.  You simply cannot fool all the people all the time.  Only your waning constituents believe in your Marxist agenda—the rest of us want our country back.

I do not find it surprising that he says things like, “…Maybe I should just pack up and go home…”  He’s frustrated because we, the American people, do not want Socialism or Marxism determining our future.

He says reporters should be grilling Congress as to why they won’t do the right thing for their constituents.

Our Congress is doing the right thing for the people—they’re putting the brakes on Obama’s agenda of destroying the country.

There’s little doubt Obama is in trouble with the American people and there’s little doubt he won’t give up.  He will find new strength and push his agenda harder.  Obama is not the type to quit, but he is the type to fight dirty, so I suggest the American people look out for what is coming.

Unfortunately for Obama, he once again blamed Congress for his failures…that does not help him in the eyes of his own followers.  He has cried wolf many times and now his cries are getting old and deleterious to his own cause.

The fact that Obama can’t work with Congress does not necessarily reflect on our Congress; it reflects on Obama’s willingness to come to the table with reasonable solutions.  He too must present solutions instead of mandates.  Every time Obama does not get his way he shoves another executive order down the throats of the American people.  He thinks they do not notice, but they do. 

Obama has only a few chances to bring this Congress into a line of working with him and that is to come to the table with an honest approach instead of that “…I’m the Supreme Commander…” attitude.  Clinton learned that in his second term and now Obama must learn it also.

Obama must remember that before he was President, he was nothing more than an unemployed community organizer.  He did not have any credibility when he was elected and he has no credibility now.
