Edward Snowden, the NSA contractor who leaked classified information of US intelligence operations is now being chased across the world for doing a heroic thing. Before Snowden, NSA spying was just a conspiracy, that people thought others were crazy, now they are proven wrong. With Obama’s ratings plummeting amid the scandals, the time to awaken and take back America is ever so here.

Snowden is viewed as a hero, in the eyes of myself and millions of other Americans concerned about their security. Snowden exposed NSA spying operations code named “Prism” in which telecommunication providers had to release data over to the NSA.

As of late June, Snowden is believed to be in Moscow, which the country is refusing to give him up. With Obama’s directives underway, Snowden is believedto have given top secret files to allies in case he is captured. If uploaded to a torrent site, these files will be the end of government secrecy, at least until the next patriot act.

But how did these top secret operations get under the table for so many years? The answer is quite a simple one; when 9/11 took its place in history, the patriot act was signed in which the NSA could more easily gather information along with other federal agencies. The excuse of terrorism was used and thus it was an acceptable factor that America is safer with the NSA spying on us.
